With a studio space right on Fulton, it can be easy to miss when walking by. However, once inside, it's a very roomy space! The decor is super cute, there's tons of plants, and the artwork for sale is all handmade (I didn't get pictures of all of it). I even got a sticker for stopping by. Christine also has yoga classes on certain days with payment options that best suit your budget (and I think there's a monthly option as well). There are a few chairs and a couch for lounging, and the staff member that I talked to was super sweet! Definitely a great hangout area or even just for a quick stop by to check everything out!

I hosted an event with Scarab Creative Arts last year, which is where I met Hannah, of Rose ceramics. She's teaches pottery classes here and she's also an amazing artist herself. I signed up for the six-week intermediate classes from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The cost is $275 and includes everything; clay, supplies, and all firings. All you need to bring is an apron and an open mind. The class style here is free from; just get your clay and go. Hannah walks around and checks in on your progress and helps with anything you need. If you've never sat in front of pottery wheel, I highly recommend taking the beginner class for more of teacher/student model set up. There are other classes offered here beyond pottery like painting, stained glass artistry, and even a few classes for kids. They do host events from time to time in their gallery and have a gift shop where you can try to sell your pieces. I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me when it comes to my pottery. I might just end up becoming a member here!

I paid additional for frames because I don't do art every day and decent work should be recognized. My youngest went in afraid because he didn't think he could do it. My bestie came into town and of course we had to make memories! We decided to get our noses…read morepierced. After calling around we decided on Anchors and Arrows. As they say, first impressions are everything. I love the logo and the store front is inviting. With a big "TATTOO" sign in green on the front and clean windows, it was comforting to see they keep their space clean. We were greeted upon arrival and took a seat to wait. When it was our turn, even as a walk in, the process was super easy. You scan a QR code and check in, sign an agreement and request a service. Nose piercing came to a total of $75. The work itself was done professionally. Ricky made sure to sterilize everything. He worse gloves and was an all around cool guy. We chatted about music and that calmed my nerves. I've gotten piercings before but it's been a while and I'd never done my nose before. Anyways, it was a fun experience and I think it came out great. Ricky made sure to ask me to give a big cheesy smile so he could get the placement right. Which made sense because your nose flares when you smile! Then after we walked to Vallarta to grab a drink and Ross after that. It's a great location with lots to do in that shopping center but of course stop here and get some work done! Ask for Ricky.
