His American traditional work is amazing, his rates are reasonable, he has tons of flash to choose from, and most importantly, his healed work is fantastic. He'll work with you if you want a few changes or have a vision. Not only is he easy to work with, but every single tattoo I've gotten from Devan heals beautifully and I've gotten multiple compliments on what people think are fresh tattoos that are actually a year old! Worst customer service and rude. Felt so uncomfortable. Ripped me off charging $140 for my little girls ear piercings. Thats right JUST her ears with temporary studs. This is the WORST place in Fresno that I have ever been to. Do not waste your money and time! Wanted to make this an exciting experience for her birthday but Matt was irritated that he had to "repeat himself" & it showed making our time unpleasant.(the music was loud so we couldn't hear him). I don't pay to be mistreated, we are customers, showing some kindness was clearly too much effort. Absolutely love this place. Devan will understand your vision. He has done me right every single time i've gone in. He is extremely quick and also gentle. He has a very kind and personable attitude. I appreciate him as an artist because not everyone wants to talk during a session, and he will absolutely let you sit in silence if you want to. Yes, this shop is pricey, but you are paying for what you get. My ink still looks fresh, like they were done yesterday. I will be finishing my sleeve with Devan; He is definitely worth the price. Anyone leaving negative reviews of Audie's work needs to be put into an insane asylum. For those that complain about customer service, gently insert your tampon and be more patient/flexible. It's a tattoo shop full of artists, you aren't dealing with preschool teachers. Sometimes you have to have some extra patience and flexibility if you want a tattoo you'll never regret. I didn't put my navel piercing back in right away and I couldn't get it back in after a couple weeks. I thought I could live without it, but I missed having it so, I yelped "piercing" and found Matt. My husband and I been going to high class for almost 4 years now. Audie is our artist and over the years has become a dear friend. He did a amazing job doing a chest cover up and Disney sleeve for me and a star wars sleeve on my husband . He is THE BEST artist in Fresno and has the trophies to prove it All these reviews talking about him being shady are absolutely appalling to me. Well we'll well I don't know where to begin. I was telling my buddy about Audie and he came up on Yelp and I couldn't help but notice that there are many people that are upset and seem to not understand how a tattoo shop works. But anyways I figured I would give my input. About 2-3 years ago I found Audie on Instagram and watched his work closely. When I felt that I had seen enough to let him build a masterpiece I called the shop and set up a consultation. During the consultation he talked about ideas, how many sessions and price. I have been to other shops where they take a deposit based on your piece u want. So this was normal for me I made my deposit and waited in line for 6 months. There are many people who are impatient and are not willing to wait. I have waited over a year for tattoos before so 6 months really ain't that bad. Fast forward to today I have had 2 full day sessions and let me tell you Audie is one of a kind and locals need to realize how lucky we are to have this gray talent so close. If you want to get anything pierced, it's best to go here. The piercer Matt does an amazing job all around. Everything is medical level sterile, with the correct tools, proper cleaning, gloves, and an expert level of handling. The piercings are smoothly done and you can't hardly even feel anything. My friends and I were all pierced here and we all have loved our experiences. The atmosphere was very relaxing, especially for people who are nervous or not good with pain, because Matt did a great job making sure we were all comfortable. I got a quote from Will for 2 hours of work for $200. He made me wait two months even though they do walk ins and there were 5 artists standing around the entire time I was there. They told someone they do walk ins on the phone.. I was in and out in a half hour (literally), including his drawing and printing time). Good tattoo, simple lines. I told him the hours and price don't match and that's $400/hr. He smiled and said "Same price," as a couple of the other artists started walking up to the front. I completely disagree with people giving Audie and his shop one star. While I understand that some people may have had negative experiences with certain people who were not Audie, that hasn't been my experience. Everyone I've ever encountered at his shop, whether in person or over the phone, have been friendly and helpful. I'm from Los Angeles and live in Sacramento- I drive over two hours to go see Audie. His work ethic, insane artistry, creativity, and passion for what he does are things that I've never come across in a tattoo artist to the level that it comes across in Audie. Reading some of the few negative reviews on here, I personally feel as if people are being unfair. From day one, he has been nothing but helpful and just overall awesome. He IS really busy you guys! That's to be expected from someone who is in high demand all over the country/world. He gets tons of emails and phone calls per day but still manages to find time for everyone that really wants to sit for a tattoo with him. I feel insanely lucky to have found Audie and his shop after searching for over two years for an artist. He truly cares about his art and his mind is just overfilled with these insanely awesome ideas. While sitting for my sleeve, he was telling me all about all these ideas he hoped to work on in the future and before I knew it, I wanted my other arm tatted as well with some of these ideas. I've waited a while to write this review because I wanted to do my experience justice. I literally just pulled up Audie's yelp to recommend it to another friend who is looking into getting a tattoo and noticed a negative review or two. Came across Audie's work on IG and it is dope. Decided to call their shop and place my name on his waitlist in February 2022 to get work done by him. The guy on the phone told me it would more than likely be end of March when I would get a call back which was fine with me being that his work speaks for itself. Most really good artists have some type of waitlist. Well, it's now August and still have yet to get a call back from anyone to try and discuss getting work done from him. I emailed multiple times too without a response. I understand that he probably gets a crazy amount of emails, but I didn't think that it would be months without any type of response at all. He's a very talented tattoo artist, but the communication and customer service to new clients hasn't been there. Still gave 2 stars because his work is dope! My 11-year-old got her ears pierced by Matt on 9/5. He helped her relax when she got nervous just before the piercing. He had an excellent and calming manner about him. Her ears are already healing really well. She had minimal redness and inflammation which went away within 24 hours. Though I've never actually stepped foot in High Class tattoo, I have been lucky enough to have work done by one of the most amazing artists I've ever seen, Audie Fulfer. Last year, I went to the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention and got a portrait of my cat by Audie. My cat had passed away after I only knew him for a little bit so I did not have the greatest pictures. They were from a phone and were just flat out crappy. Somehow, Audie used my pictures and sketched what was the most unique tattoo I've ever seen. He took his time and worked with true care. After nearly 6-7 hours, my leg held a beautiful, colorful cat portrait. The image literally made me cry because it was so gorgeous. I've never seen any tattoo without outlining and the blending of colors was truly amazing. Audie and his gang were such an open, fun bunch. My boyfriend and I felt like we knew the guys our whole lives after we left that night. I paid a flat $500 dollars (that was the portrait cost at the time) and being that it took such a large amount of time, it was actually very cheap. If I'm ever in Cali or can catch Audie at the tattoo convention again, I will do so in a heartbeat. read more

The level of detail he puts in is absolutely phenomenal. I knew when I told him I trusted him to design a piece from scratch for me that I made the right choice and the result so far has been beyond my wildest dreams. I can't wait to get it finished. To the girl who wants high quality and stupid low prices, I am sure the homeless guy on the corner can do an awesome stick figure with some script phrasing for you that he will clean up with his spit and backwashed vodka. What they charge is cheaper than most and you can't even touch the quality they provide at this price. The hourly rate should easily be 50-75% higher. read more
