I had to post one star cause this site won't allow you to NOT leave it blank when in essence should be aloud to post it in the negatives
Wow i wish there was negative stars on this review site. Today Saturday 17, I had to make a last minute dart to the store in defense of them it was 4:48 but they close at five and I knew exactly what i needed and where it was located. I went directly to where the product is store because I had purchased mouldings before, went to the spot and the lights were turned off. I proceeded to the service and spot 2 workers standing there talking, older gentleman with his arms folded and a younger gentleman leaning with his back on the counter talking. I spoke up and "asked where either the 1/2" x 3/4" or 3/4" x 3/4" quarter round was cause I need 8 feet of it" The older gentleman pointed and said "Over there" with out even moving. Then said "Oh the lights are turned off" again not moving a inch to help. I turned and said "wow a store that is supposed to open till 5 and the clerk never moves WOW oh WOW" I turned and walk towards the front door and as I passed the cashier " Wow you call that fricking service" and walked out. I have worked in retail for at the time Canada's biggest Lumber Store across and had to stay lots of times just a little later with a customer. One that i had to stay late with was for a can of paint but within a couple of weeks turned into a complete house package. I have been in this store alot of times over the years back to when Monty Stafford then Dan and Dave owing this location and then I always had the best service whether it was $1.00 worth of screws or $500.00 worth of building materials. I am never ever stepping foot into this store again in High River. I remember being told 1 pissed of customer tells a 100 people 1 happy customer tells 1. read more
