We had them landscape our garden. They edged flowerbeds and put stones and flagstones where the…read moredownspouts drain. That was fine. But when they planted 2 apple trees, that's where they were inexperienced. We had told them when we were getting a quote that the ground was glacial clay with very little topsoil. They dug a hole in the clay just the size of the rootball. Not 2 times the size nor deeper which were the instructions on the tree tag. There was nowhere for the water to drain. We dug down after all the rain and a bucket full of water came out of the root ball. when they were planting the trees they never said... there maybe a problem because of the clay and we need to put more topsoil in. I emailed the staff and they said it would be ok, they never acknowledged that there was a problem. They did just what the quote said... which is fair. My suggestion is if you get a quote make sure you get them to write in your information about your garden. AND check on the crew regularly so you can catch things before they finish the job. The guys working were great but they were just the labours and had no landscaping experience.
