I have a limited size office space and found it annoying that my door was taking up almost 3ft of wall! So after some Googling I found a door that would solve my problem for my niche space. I recieved quotes from a handful of people, all of which were uncharging me for expensive custom door hinges or trying to offer alternatives which would not fit the space. When I sent the project request to Alfredo, we discussed the project in detail and, while he had never done this style of door before, assured me it would not be any more difficult than any of his other interior door projects. On top of that, after discovering that my current door was solid wood, he said we could simply reuse it and save me some money. He picked up my door, took it to his shop, and came back later that week to install it. Wow, this month has been super chaotic... moving is much harder than I remembered. So basically, we were moving into a house in Santa Cruz County that needed some hard-core tree and bush removal so we could do a termite tenting before we moved in. We are on a tight timeline and wasn't even really sure what the best approach would be. Guadalupe was one of the three landscaper estimates we got and, though the estimate prices were comparable, we decided to go with him because we really liked him and his ideas. We also liked the fact that he mentioned he can arrange / help with much more than landscaping when we need extra help. That's was great to hear in a time where it's not easy to find reliable skilled crews. So... fast forward, he gave us an estimate and timeframe and stuck to it. He took notes on what we needed to help the house, how I wanted the trees trimmed, and offered suggestions (like when he thought I'd be unhappy with my results of severe trimming). Then the crew removed and/or trimmed trees, bushes, and even an old shed for us. We were able to meet the timeline of our termite tenting and end-of-month move in. A representative came out, took measurements, and provided a price quote. I confirmed the price and asked about the delivery timeline, and he told me it would be ready in about a week. I told him - "Sounds good". Based on that conversation, I reasonably assumed the order would be placed, as I was not asked to formally confirm, sign anything, or provide a deposit. I was fully prepared to do so if requested. I thought maybe he will ask to pay once he delivers the door. However, when I followed up a week later, I was told that the glass had not been ordered and that I should have explicitly placed the order or followed up multiple times. This lack of clear communication and accountability caused unnecessary delays. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this business based on my experience.
