I happened to stumble upon a Science Explorers ad on one of my social media accounts. My soon to…read morebe 2nd grader loves doing science experiments & with COViD causing so much havoc this summer, going to Summer Camp was off the table. We signed up for Science Explorers & he has enjoyed it so much that he asked to do a second week! It's all virtual, through Zoom, but a week before they send a box filled with all the items they'll need for the week. Each experiment is prelabeled, in its own bag, & only a very few items are needed from home (like scissors). The instructor is patient & engaging, ensuring the questions are answered and a break is given (it is a 2.5 hour "class"). While my son has needed some help here & there, it is very age appropriate for the group of children who signed up. I seriously recommend Science Explorers to anyone who child loves doing experiments!!

The camp truly is a great respite from the daily pressures of life offering a great place to unwind and draw closer to God. As we were getting our spiritual batteries recharged there was time to indulge in basketball, boating, miniature golf, singing and roasting some hot dogs, marshmallows and s'mores on the campfire. The staff at the camp are not just Awesome, but phenomenally Awesome! We are thankful to God for Bruce, the director of the camp who has always made our stay here a pleasure and ensuring all our needs were met. We especially appreciate Bruce for getting the boats in the water for us and getting the boats and us out of the water, he literally is a one man show at the boating dock. In the past Chef Jose and Lucas made sure we were all well fed. This year a new Chef is in town and his name is Rusty! Don't let the name fool you, they call him Rusty but his culinary skills are far from it. Rusty and his kitchen staff cranks out some delicious meals and our waistlines can account to it. If you have any dietary restrictions they can accommodate you as well. Our congregation has been coming here for well over 12 years and we are always looking forward every year coming here. Keep up the great work guys and gals. We pray God continues to Bless you all richly for all your hard work and dedication in his name. See you kids next year! Cheers! :)

They love it there and have made friends that I am sure will last for a lifetime. I'm sitting down with my morning coffee, ready to open up the camp's daily blog and photos. I get to see all of the fun they are having and feel good knowing they are being happy and carefree. There are NO PHONES at this camp, and that alone is worth every penny. My sons get to be outdoors, play sports, make friends, and get their childhoods back in a phone free, social media free, good old-fashioned summer. I miss my kids all summer, but Green Lane and their amazing staff are giving my kids memories of a lifetime. I signed the waiver at home to make it easier for when I came in and I was checked m in less than two minutes. This was a very good time to come. There was no crowd and we actually came in time for the bubble party. The staff is very kind walking around picking up toys and making sure it's safe and clean as possible but they're not helicoptering during. They let your kids play but they do pick up after them. I think it was well worth the money my kids had an awesome time. We will definitely come back for sure.
