If you're funny about helmets bring a scarf to wrap your hair. We rode down through a clearing into the water, up and down long scenic fall leaf-covered hills. The instructors took a group shot of us for a nice keepsake. I highly recommend Sheeder Mill Farms for groups of all skill levels.

My wife's horse kept eating (much like me), but still was gentle and easy going. This place is great for beginners as the horses are well behaved. You take a 15 minute tutorial in how to ride then off you go.

We were given clear instruction on how to pull the reigns to get the horses to move were we wanted. Our guide was very helpful and told us fun facts about the different horses they have at their farm. Also, the guide offered to take pictures of us while riding. When we got back to the farm we were able to give a snack to the horses. Overall, we both had a great time and enjoyed the ride. The prices are reasonable, and I would recommend this farm for anyone who is looking for a trail or scenic town horse ride. Another cool thing is that they offer pony parties for the kids as well!!
