Thankfully I found Joe. He was knowledgeable, funny, a great guy and didn't try to upsell a thing. He replaced my water heater at a great price. While he was here my sewer was backing up when he tried to drain the water heater. He asked that we get it cleared before he finished the job. We called Homeservice plumbers and they came out, said there was a block and they would have to tear up the basement and the starting price was almost 7k. More if they found other problems and they repeatedly tried to use, used car sales tactics and scare tactics to get me to replace Joe as my plumber and destroy the basement to clear a "block". Joe recommended Colorado Sewer Service and they came out and cleared the "block" in 10 minutes for 1/50th of what they were going to charge to tear up the basement and install a new unnecessary pipe just to begin with, which I am sure they would have tried to turn into a 20k plus job. Joe did a fast and excellent job and is just a good human being. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his business. Without a doubt I will use him for every job I need in the future. From start to finish Jody and her team were wonderful to work with--they were highly knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive, and took the time to make sure everything was designed and completed to a high standard. This project is something we'd been wanting to do for years, and it came out better than we could have imagined! We had a lot of different goals for what's a fairly small front yard with quite a bit of shade: we wanted an attractive design that would reduce water use and maintenance needs, support pollinators throughout the full growing season, create a firebreak near the house, have a nice space for our kids to enjoy, and add some edible plants/berries/herbs if possible. Wild Heritage went above and beyond in delivering on all of these criteria, and it's a strong testament to their experience, passion, and deep knowledge of landscape design, sustainable planting, water management, and construction. Our new front yard has quickly become a favorite place for our whole family to spend time, and our kids love running around the path, sitting on the rocks, watching bumblebees and ladybugs, and admiring each new flower that blooms. Our 6-year-old son now asks to go outside with us every night to read on the patio and is beyond excited to pick strawberries, gooseberries, honeyberries, and cherries as the plants grow and mature. And thanks to the high-quality soil, customized drip irrigation system, and detailed instructions Wild Heritage provided, the plants are already growing like crazy just a few short weeks after being planted. We've already gotten tons of compliments from our neighbors (both on our street and some that have been driving by), and we can't wait to see how our garden grows and changes over the coming years. Michael Miller was prompt, polite, professional, and replaced/repaired my tub faucets inside of 30 minutes. He even followed up by text, shortly after his visit with a great suggestion for a new water softener for my home, as I had asked his opinion on what to do about my current system. I had a very bad experience working with these guys. It took them an entire summer to diagnose and…read morerepair the compressor I had bought from them and they had installed on one of my refrigerated beer tap trailers. This cost my small business $8,000 in parts and repairs plus several customer refunds. They took zero responsibility for the problems I experienced. When I questioned one of the owners about their continued misdiagnosis, I was treated very rudely and he fired me as a customer. He even threatened legal action if I didn't pay the full amount by the end of the week. All this after having worked with them for 3 years. Extremely high labor rates and over-inflated part pricing markups (I checked), and lots of nitpick charges. They even charge a $75 shipping fee for parts they have in inventory in their own warehouse, which is in the same small building as the shop and office. When I asked about that charge I was told "Well, we had to pay to have the part shipped here when we bought it." What? The people who work in the office and one of the field techs were nice and often helpful, but that is the only good thing I can think of to say. The owners of DNI Heating do not give a crap about their customer. You will be nothing more than a transaction to them.
