I've held off writing an honest review about Paul in hopes he would right his wrongdoing. Paul…read moregained my early trust by doing a small plumbing job at my commercial property. In the process he convinced me to replace an old boiler. He required a 20k deposit. Which is a huge amount of money- no doubt, but since we had already established a working relationship I had a false sense of comfort. He took my deposit and then didn't start the job for several months. I had to threaten him with lawsuit to get him to start the boiler replacement. It was clear he had spent my deposit elsewhere and didn't have the resources to start and finish my job. So many lies and dishonesty and just overall a narcissistic person that has no businesses being in business. I ended up losing my 20k plus the attempts to collect and force him to finish the work cost me thousands more. On top of that I had to make several repairs to this unfinished boiler replacement project that I wouldn't have had to otherwise. There is another comment on Yelp by "Libby" that is eerily similar to my experience with Paul. I could go on about his deceptive business practices. I think Paul is mentally unstable and just hides it well. But as soon as any job hits a snag, you'll find out Paul's true character. I would advise anybody that comes in contact with him and/or his business to usher him as far away from your property as possible. The guy cannot be trusted.

My toilet flange and drain pipe had broken. The only way to repair it without ripping out all of the bathroom tile was to cut a hole in my kitchen ceiling to access the damaged parts. I learned a great deal and was inspired just watching him work. I wish I had more plumbing issues so I could hire him again!

I appreciate not only the attention to detail that Paul has in his work, by the eye he keeps on maintainability as well. Items that he's worked on for us are always arranged in such a way that they can be easily serviced in the future, whether that means being able to conveniently drain a exterior line or have access to snake a drain pipe. Paul understands the entire picture of what's happening on a job. He absolutely saved our basement remodel project last year and I simply can't thank him enough for all the great work he's done in our home. I would recommend Boulder County Plumbing to anyone and everyone - and I'd never call anyone else for my own work. I had Norm's come onsite to fix a leak from a frozen pipe which went directly to an outdoor spigot…read more After Norm's replaced and soldered the copper pipe we noticed the outside spigot was hard to turn on and off. We didn't pay much attention to it until we started watering our outdoor garden in May. After a few times using this spigot it eventually would not work at all. I called Norms and explained what happened after they came out and was told that they were booked up and could not come out until August which was unacceptable to me. Their solution to me was to call another plumber!! Well long story short I did call another plumber. He found bits of solder in the spigot valve right next to where Norms had soldered the pipe. The entire spigot assembly including the valve at the end had to be replaced. To add further insult Norms charged me $242 to solder a new piece of pipe. The plumber who came out to fix the mess Norms did charged me $262 for the same work done AND A COMPLETE SPIGOT ASSEMBLY. An update to my earlier review as I just received a check for 50% of the original invoice as promised. I have updated my review rating accordingly. I appreciate the response given this matter from Norm's plumbing.

After emailing some photos of the old to be removed and the new fixture to be installed, Ernie quoted me a reasonable price but said he was booked for the next 5-6 weeks. Briefly after that, I got a call saying that Doug could respond in about (3) weeks. He arrived within the agreed time frame (9-10am) and did an efficient and professional job in less time than the original estimate. Therefore, the price was adjusted downward. Highly recommend this business!
