Excellent service from a well-trained, very professional staff. The range is air-conditioned and well-appointed with rests, target hangers and even staplers at the rest. All target hangers can be moved to your desired distance by means of a switch. The store, although small, seems to have everything you want or need for shooting sports, including targets, hearing protection and even rifles and pistols to rent. Just moved here 3 months ago from Singapore. Never used gun but very curious. I went in this store April 20th and saw so many guns but I had no idea what to do. Stephen greeted me with smile and helped me took some pictures with guns. He suggested me to take proper training class and showed me how to shot at their professional indoor range. Since then I am improving every time shot with his help. Not only Stephen is friendly, Jay who works there also very nice and patient to the customer. April 26, I finished concealed carry firearms training class at this store by the owner and instructor John. Such a fun class! John is so capable to deliver this class by plenty of stories and jokes. He is also very patient and kind to explain to me some terminology that I don't understand. I learned so much about using the gun properly; the regulations; what to do in dangerous situations etc. This is the class every shooter should take before owns a gun. I believe this is because they have hired a couple of young men who only know how to send their customers on a wild goose chase after initial denial. I dropped off a rifle bolt for repair and tried to explain what was needed. When the young guy at the counter was done hitting on my daughter he said the gunsmith would call me. Again, I said I need to explain what he needs to do and he replied that I would have to describe it to the gunsmith. The gunsmith called and I explained the repair. It took him three weeks to complete a simple repair. When I came in to pick it up the repair was not completed but he reassembled it. I explained that is not what i wanted. In the end the gunsmith said I had to pay before he would give me my parts and the owner refused to return my calls or emails. Better service at Bullet Hole or Shoot Straight!!! read more

This place is great! I am a new gun owner and I was very worried about the whole experience. Everyone in the shop was so friendly and helpful that I soon lost all of my nerves and was happy with the gun I bought. I also took the Conceal Carry course. The instructor, John, was excellent. He was obviously experienced and knowledgeable, and his style of teaching was so engaging that I would recommend this course to anyone. I put a gun in consignment at High noon. They suggested they put it on Gunbroker and I agreed. They never put it on Gunbroker so I went to put up my gun. I was charged $30 for services never preformed. Also it was never disclosed there would be a $30 fee to take out of consignment. read more

Nice shooting range on Bee Ridge. Definitely the quietest one in the area. Well padded and sound proofed. Lanes are a little on the narrow side so the shells that eject bounce off the wall and might land on you but otherwise it is fine. Fairly simple to get in and use it. Could stand to have the brass swept up a little more, but overall I think it's much better than other enclosed ranges in the area and I will visit again soon. read more

John was the instructor for the conceal carry class I recently took. His style is humor and within minutes had the entire group interacting, supporting each other, and laughing together. He really has a gift for teaching. He covered how to safely hold a gun, the conceal laws for different States, explained the choices in bullets and guns, and then taught me how to shoot a gun. This was my first time and I was very anxious but John was encouraging. I left the store confident and wanting more. I've signed up for further instruction already! read more

They assisted me on getting a great price on the Shotgun through the owner. The Team was professional and very knowledgable. But the best was yet to come. While the Shotgun was used and in mint condition, the Team suggested that I see their Gunsmith, Marc, at the Bradenton Store. Marc does exceptional work staining and placing a glossy shine on stocks and forends for a very reasonable price. I just picked up my Shotgun. It is unbelievably beautiful and almost to pretty to shoot! Marc is a master craftsman who takes pride in his work. My Shotgun has definitely increased in looks and value. I have to share my frustrating experience with consigning a handgun at this facility. I purchased a brand-new Smith & Wesson firearm from High Noon and fired it in their range twice then realized the caliber was a little bit more than I was comfortable with, so I was assured by the staff, who were very friendly that it would be no problem to take the weapon put it on consignment and then get a smaller caliber weapon. I was told the day that I turned it in that there would be a 15 day hold by law for the serial number to be tracked to make sure that there is no crimes committed with the weapon but after the holding, It would be put on consignment and I would be notified of it sale. One month later I had not heard anything from the facility so I attempted to call, a man answered the phone and put me on hold for almost 10 minutes I waited, hung up and called again this time nobody answered. I tried yet again when the gentleman answered I was put on hold for approximately five minutes until the person I was supposed to be speaking with answered the phone, I gave him my information and told him that I wanted to find out about the consignment of my weapon and he stated that he could not look up that information just based on my name or the type of weapon so I searched for the paperwork that they handed me that day and gave him the control number and the serial number of the weapon after being put on hold again for for approximately five minutes he came back on the phone and said that the weapon was still in the box and that there was someone that was coming to purchase it in the following week. Two weeks went by and I called again to find out the status of the weapon I had put on consignment. My first call attempt was never answered so I waited approximately half an hour and tried to call again the phone was answered then the gentleman put me on hold. I was on hold, after five minutes I hung up and called back again at that point the employee yelled to another employee about not having a phone and I was promptly put on hold again for another five minutes I again hung up the phone and tried for a third time to get a hold of the facility. as apparently per their protocol I was promptly put on hold after the nice man apologized, after waiting again approximately five minutes Troy answered the phone. I explained that I wanted to find out the status of the weapon I put on consignment he ask for my name then promptly put me on hold for seven minutes then came back and stated that the weapon was still in the box but a deposit had been left on the weapon as it had to be held for 15 days. At that point I asked him what he meant about it being held for 15 days so he told me the law which I had already been told the day I put it on consignment. I read off the date on the paper that the transaction was actually on which was over a month and a half of time. I then expressed to him that I was highly frustrated with their facility. He then put me on hold again once he found the serial number on his computer after all I did was give him my name which is completely the opposite of what happened the first time I spoke to them. When he came back on the phone he said oh the weapon has already been purchased and you can come in and pick up your check anytime. There seems to either be a huge disconnect in this facility or because I was a female I was treated differently then a Male customer with less importance or urgency. I understand that businesses can get busy but never once did anyone offer to take my number and call me back because the facility was too busy my husband and I have even become members of the shooting range at this facility and I am considering discontinuing my membership and finding another facility. **** UPDATE***** I just went to pick up the check only to find out that the weapon I bought from them was USED!!! Never during the purchase of the two weapons we bought that day did anyone tell us mine was used!!! So when I asked what the price for the lesser caliber was I almost fell over when the price was $150 more than the one they just sold for me. When I questioned the huge price difference the man that originally sold us the weapon piped in saying oh yea your weapon was used. "A man bought it for his wife and after she shot just one round in our range, the man brought it to the counter to exchange it for a 9m... What a great deal you got" WTF, no not a great deal since we both stated that day that we wanted new weapons. Not once did we ever hear the story on the day of our purchase. I am reporting this place to the BBB for certain. This place is not to be trusted!!!!! -5 stars read more

I bought a safe and two two thousand dollar guns a favor was one , I was told that if I purchase all this that they would convert the tavor to left handed for no extra charge, I kept having to call because I was not getting any updates when calling no real answers finally went in when the owner that sold me the gun was there and after a couple of months I had to take my gun because they wanted to charge me for it , I was lied to , I paid full price for the items and in the end very disappointed shooting a right handed gun that was going to be the first left handed one I ever owned. read more

The gun came in they gave me a call and the rest is history. Then I went back looking for the right holster for this gun and they directed me to the one that was the most comfortable. Knowing nothing about guns, I left High Noon feeling safer and more confident. I prefer High Noon because of their knowledge, experience and friendly staff. I've been to other ranges in town that did not offer any one on one attention. As a female (with lots of questions), that is MOST important to me. Perhaps being a female in a mans toy-store, made all the difference in the service???? They joked, made me laugh...but in all seriousness...helped me feel at ease. They took their time explaining to me what to expect and made me feel comfortable. They recommended rentals based on what my comfort level is. Yes ladies, these men actually listen. They even asked how my experience went. The other ranges could've cared less. I will highly recommend High Noon to all my friends and family.
