WT Cafe is a catered lunch service providing hot (& cold) lunches to private schools and daycares…read morewho generally do not have their own meal program. At first I was reluctant to order from WT, although they pride themselves on being healthy, yummy, and nutritious, I wasn't sure my persnickety four year old would go for a catered lunch. I'd reviewed the menu over and over, which looks so delicious I was tempted to place an order for my own lunch needs. On the morning of one very busy week, I noticed we didnt have bread .. oh no, what am I going to pack for lunch?! No time to grab anything from our local grocer, I went online (I'd already created a profile on the WT website) and ordered an express lunch .. sunbutter and jelly sandwich with two sides and a drink $5.25, boom lunch is taken care of. I decided while on the website to take care of the rest of the very busy week and order for the next few days. My little guy absolutely loved it! According to his teachers, he ate every bite of the mac n cheese one day and the hand-breaded chicken fingers the next day. There are many other options to try as there seems to be something for every child, from soups to stews, hot sandwiches, breakfast for lunch (chicken and waffles, seriously?), and even cheesesteaks. Also there is a decent amount of vegetarian and gluten-free selections for special diets. Each meal including a drink and two sides, you have the option to add ala carte items such as fruit or snacks (baked goods, etc), the price is competitive to packing a lunch $3.50 to $5.25). I believe they also cater to the schools' tree-nut free policies as well. Not only is the food tasty for your little ones and "wholesome" the online ordering service is super convenient for busy parents. I love not feeling terrible for the lunch options WT Cafe provides. It's certainly higher than the ol' quickie Oscar Meyer Lunchable caliber but just as quick and easy (and def a little more cost-efficient). I am an avid fan of WT Cafe!

Not sure if it was the clientele (lots of demands for extra sauces and extra wings after already having placed an order) or the lunch crush (4 deep), but they were really slow in getting the food out (20 mins for me) and they basically only have wings and fries to make. Got the Honey Sriracha wings, comes with 6 large, meaty, fried wings. Batter is chunky, lots of fluffy bits, not like flour or breading, must be a thick, wet dredge. Name was a misnomer, they don't use Sriracha, it's sambal oelek, but sauce was tasty, sweet-hot, not too, a little tingle on the tongue. Fries look hand cut, but are soggy, not really worth the calories, really they're only soaking up the vivid red grease at the bottom of my chicken box. $8 is OK, budget plenty of time to wait if you're on your lunch break.

Ordering was very easy, the website is very easy to navigate through. They offer bulk meal ordering in options of 6, 10, or 12 or you can order the different meals individually. My first order was the 10 Bulk meal, which included salmon, shrimp, mahi mahi, and steak. Pick up was easy and was ready when I arrived. I will also say that the portions are just right and I was full after a meal. AND- I have started to lose weight. The meal plan I purchased was $80.
