Nothing short of life altering. I might be biased, as this was my first professional massage ever,…read morebut Abby is incredible. A friend and I booked last minute appointments right before we headed to Wilmington for a weekend getaway. I've never booked a massage previously because the thought of a stranger touching me for an hour was, to be honest, a little daunting. The combination of a messed up back and shoulders from years of sitting hunched over a computer at work and convincing from my friend led me to Serenity Spa. It can be a little confusing to find if you aren't familiar with the area - the location at the Crafts Inn is downstairs by the pool. You have the option of also purchasing a day pass to use the pool/sauna at the inn, we didn't use that option but it is available. It was very quiet and peaceful down there on the day we went. Abby said it is usually pretty quiet, despite being by the pool. The massage room is very thoughtfully decorated and has lots of soft lighting. Very relaxing. There were several options for type of massage as well as add ons, I went with deep tissue massage with hot stones added on and asked for focus on head/neck/back. Abby seemed very open to tailoring the massage to the clients specific needs and comfort level, which I appreciated. I was pretty nervous and didn't know what to expect, but I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Abby made me feel extremely comfortable, and the massage was great. Fastest hour of my life. Wish I had booked the 1.5 hour. It is good for my wallet that I don't live in Vermont, otherwise I'd already be booking my next appointment. Cannot say enough good things about Serenity Spa.

I called ahead to book and was told they would "let me know tomorrow" if staffing could accommodate us. I didn't hear back until very late, and the only availability they had was late in the day on Sunday... which didn't work for our weekend snowboarding trip. They tried to make it work, but could only offer one deep tissue and one hot stone massage because of staffing limitations. In the end, it was too inconvenient and confusing to go through with it. For the weekend before Valentine's Day... and prime ski season in Vermont... staffing issues at a massage studio are frustrating and disappointing.

Being from out of state you kind of go where it says for public parking and just park. Well I had no idea how to work their pay parking machine and kind of was worried I would get a ticket for parking in the public pay lot. Frantic I looked for the nearest business to see if I could get change since the smallest bill I had was a five. Most businesses won't do this for you unless you purchase and item. Luckily for me I stopped in here at Jasmine's and without thinking twice, they gave me change for my five. I can see why people love this place. They are so kind and didn't think twice about helping me out. Thank you, you saved me from getting a ticket. I truly appreciate your kindness.

I was leery about having this done in VT in general and by someone who I did not know in particular. I, erroneously, thought most salons up here would be sub-par to the CT and NY salons I am used to.
