Patricia was easy to communicate with over email and phone which are listed on the High Mountain Massage Website. I successfully set up an appointment for just myself solely by email correspondence. The massage room has a small river view. By the time I arrived Patricia had already warmed up the space to a comfortable temperature in addition to heating up the massage table. I'm normally a cold person and she made sure I was comfortable! She initiated some very light conversation at the begging on the appointment, but not too much. The massage was relaxing overall and did not feel rushed. The areas I asked her to work on really got the extra pressure they needed and the other parts of my body received a more gentle massage. I would recommend this business and would like to try out the other services in the future.

Nothing short of life altering. I might be biased, as this was my first professional massage ever,…read morebut Abby is incredible. A friend and I booked last minute appointments right before we headed to Wilmington for a weekend getaway. I've never booked a massage previously because the thought of a stranger touching me for an hour was, to be honest, a little daunting. The combination of a messed up back and shoulders from years of sitting hunched over a computer at work and convincing from my friend led me to Serenity Spa. It can be a little confusing to find if you aren't familiar with the area - the location at the Crafts Inn is downstairs by the pool. You have the option of also purchasing a day pass to use the pool/sauna at the inn, we didn't use that option but it is available. It was very quiet and peaceful down there on the day we went. Abby said it is usually pretty quiet, despite being by the pool. The massage room is very thoughtfully decorated and has lots of soft lighting. Very relaxing. There were several options for type of massage as well as add ons, I went with deep tissue massage with hot stones added on and asked for focus on head/neck/back. Abby seemed very open to tailoring the massage to the clients specific needs and comfort level, which I appreciated. I was pretty nervous and didn't know what to expect, but I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Abby made me feel extremely comfortable, and the massage was great. Fastest hour of my life. Wish I had booked the 1.5 hour. It is good for my wallet that I don't live in Vermont, otherwise I'd already be booking my next appointment. Cannot say enough good things about Serenity Spa.

She was very receptive to my very specific requests. She was friendly, funny and very skilled. The personal attention was a real treat! The salon itself SHOCKED me, as it was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, modern, elegantly decorated and meticulously kept. I felt like I was in an exclusive, private spa at a 5 star resort. It really was a great little oasis from the earthy experience we all love so much about VT. If you need to be pampered and prefer to do it with class and style, this is the place for you! Michele does a GREAT JOB. She's highly competent and my manicure lasted way longer than usual. I was also very pleasantly surprised at how nice her little room was decorated.
