I used the 'request a quote' function on Yelp and King's Peak offered the best price. They also offered to come by within the week, which was great. Now, I had had a different drywall contractor come by and do some work for me before and he did an awful job (no names, sorry), so naturally I was a bit nervous about this situation. Especially considering that King's Peak had quoted me a much better price than the other guys. Obviously, I didn't need to worry at all. They did an amazing job on my walls, and they even took the extra time to smooth out some other spots nearby that needed some work. And they even took the time to fix the horrible job the last contractor did, at no extra charge at all! I would highly recommend King's Peak to anyone needing pro sheetrock or drywall work in the valley.

The crew showed up on time, worked fast and cleaned up everything when they left. Would recommend to anyone!

My realtor originally recommended Daniel's company to me, and I'm so glad she did. He is honest, great to work with, reliable, friendly and does a really great job. He always showed up when expected, and finished on time even when that meant coming out on the weekend and working late hours. As a landlord with rental properties I have worked with many, many contractors and repairmen over the years - Dego Painting is in the very top tier. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone. He's also some other jobs I've needed, like replacing baseboards and last minute help reinstalling kick boards in the kitchen. While we understand that the permitting process is largely outside the contractor's control, 42 days in we still had no real construction timeline for when the permit was eventually approved despite many requests, the permit had been submitted prematurely before all required drawings were ready, and a scheduled walkthrough was missed without any notice, so we decided to end our engagement with Alpha on 9/16/2026. Since then, we've asked several times for documentation to support the hours being billed against our deposit and haven't received anything we could actually verify. Some of the hours being claimed are from before we'd even formally hired the company, and other charges are for work that fell outside the original scope and should have required a signed change order, which never happened. We tried to resolve this directly and in good faith, offering more than we felt was actually warranted given the lack of any proof of work or visible progress on site. We let Dusty know that if we didn't receive documentation supporting the hours being claimed, we'd need to pursue other ways to resolve it. As of today, 9/30/26, we still haven't received a refund of our deposit or any proof of the hours being claimed against it.
