Reena took her time with my hair and told me what all the step by steps that was all involved in my new hair color. This was Reena first time doing a man's hair color. She was very gentle and not rushy trying to finish everything all at once. Her hair style work area was very clean and neat she took care in making sure her work area was clean and neat which was great to see. I want to start by saying, with hair and nail salons, your experience depends on the person you have doing the service. I have been to this place multiple times, and I have had two different ladies do my hair and the experience was COMPLETELY different. With that said... Brittany H. is AMAZING! Yes, it could take a couple of weeks or so to get into see her, but that's because the work she does is elite! She took the time while doing my hair to explain what we needed to do to my hair and why. She was very professional and kind. I have been back to see her a few more times now lol She absolutely blows me away with what she can do with my hair, and most importantly, she makes me feel so pretty! I was expecting great service off a recommendation from a friend from years ago, but I got exactly the opposite. Whatever you do- don't book with Reena. My experience was extremely unprofessional and her tools were not clean despite a pandemic. I have never received worse service or attitude. I had booked more than a week in advance to get curls done for an event. I called multiple times and left messages asking if they got my appointment and if they were able to do curls. I did not hear anything back for days. I thought everything was fine, so I went into my appointment the day of. While Reena was cutting my hair, she decided to mention that she could not do curls. I had specifically went in for a hair cut and curls. So, it was a waste of my time that she had not bothered to call me back after listening to my message. Her response was that it was too late for her to call back and so she didn't want to. I ended up getting a service I did not want in the first place. Next, her tools were unclean. During the course of the treatment, some kind of dye got into my pants. The stain was purple and she immediately refused to take responsibility for it. Instead, she kept insisting that it was my red hoodie (purple and red are not the same color). I was already frustrated that she was unprofessional and her tools unclean- I got a service I did not want and my calls were never returned. I figured it would come off, so I put it in bleach when I got home. It is permanently ruined and lost me $80 worth of clothing. When I asked for a refund, Reena denied all responsibility and said if I couldn't prove it she wouldn't give me a refund. This was extremely dishonest and unprofessional. If Reena is like this I can only assume how the rest of the salon professionals are. I have never received worse service and I will not be going back. If you want professional, communicative, and clean service, look elsewhere. read more

I was so anxious with the mess I was dealing with since we're coming up on the wedding in 10 days. He literally did MAGIC for me and brought me to tears. Finally, finally, finally.... I have found Sonny "Hi Sonny if you're reading this". A black friend referred me to Sonny. The pros: #1 and most important - I was in and out in 45 minutes avg. With color it's longer but service is immediate, it's fast. No walking around gossiping, talking, chatting, answering the phone, checking makeup, waiting on irons to heat up, yadda yadda yadda. #2 - She's INEXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!! $25 FOR A WASH AND STYLE! $35 IF YOU ADD TRIM. $55 FOR WASH,STYLE AND COLOR!!!! You ladies know that these prices are like welfare prices! BUT it's not a welfare cut! My husband said my hair style looked EXPENSIVE!!! Whattt!!!!!! #3 - She straightens my hair without putting tons of product in it. #4 - She recommends other styles, colors, etc. She doesn't just do your hair over and over. She takes the initiative and gets you to try new things. That's more than a hair dresser. That's a stylist. Give Sonny a try. Not sure how comfortable the other women feel about doing hair that's not the texture of a white girl's but she's worth trying. Great salon. Really a gem in the middle of Georgia--who would have thought? I had Iris do my hair and she did a beautiful job cutting and coloring my hair. I have very thick, long hair and she had no issues. The interior is very spacious and hip and it looks like something that should be up by Boston or New York, in all reality. They have many stylists and they are there to work for the client, not themselves. You can really tell that they have passion. Great price, great people, beautiful hair! read more

I made an appointment with Reena for my bang trim and eyebrow threading immediately after reading the great reviews about the salon! I will be making regular appointments with her. If you are looking to try threading, I recommend her as she is one of the few light-handed threaders I have met. Being new to the area, I was nervous to go to anyone considering bangs and eyebrows are two of the easiest things to mess up...she did a great job at making me feel welcomed and I appreciate that. I get my hair done here and in my opinion its the best salon in migddle GA...their outside entrance could use some work (looks small and not very welcoming), but the staff is great! some of the best work i've had done on my hair. I had waited for 3 years to trust again a stylist. Went to more pricier place hoping to get better service. But I'm so very disappointed that they thinned out my and chopped it off. I explained this is the longest my hair has ever been I wanted just very little on the tips my hairs above my shoulders now and thinner it's ever been. I feel the communication was no existent. After waiting 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time (which I had made three weeks prior), I asked the receptionist to point out my stylists, Christie, since I had never met her. She wasn't even half way through drying another customer's (very long, very curly) hair. The receptionist said I should "only" have to wait 10 more minutes, but I could see it was going to take at least 15 minutes more. I understand that things come up and that running behind is common in this industry, but the least Christie could have done was apologize for her tardiness and explain the situation. Instead, I was left sitting there for nearly a half hour with no explanation of what was happening. My time is just as valuable as anyone's, and if I'm expected to pay (and tip) for a service, I expect to be seen at my appointment time or very shortly after. Needless to say, I left without getting my haircut, and will look elsewhere for a stylist. I will say that the receptionist was very kind and apologetic when I got up to leave. I made an appointment to have a shampoo, cut and a Balayage color. Once I got into the room I found out my stylist didn't even check to see what services I asked for. So the the hair coloring I received was not what I wanted. Then she got a call in the middle of the service from her friend wanting wanting to get some hi-lites. I have to agree with the other one-star reviews given on the basis of this establishment's rudeness. In all fairness, I didn't stay long enough for the cut, so this review is based solely on the lack of professionalism. I booked here because I was swayed by the nice facade of the building along with a couple of the positive reviews. The interior was nice and the stylists I saw were all decked out in fashionable clothes and long curls, leading me to believe I was at a high-quality salon. But it's all smoke and mirrors here, literally. First, you are greeted by an iPad. Initially, I was thinking, hey, this is fancy schmancy. But that was the only greeting I received in over 20 minutes. That would've been fine, I suppose, if I had been 20 minutes early for my appointment. But I arrived on time, meaning I waited for over 20 minutes beyond my appointment time and no one ever acknowledged us. I would've inquired as to the status of my appointment had anyone been around to ask. But about 10 minutes into my wait, someone brought in bags of take-out from Shane's rib shack. All the staff was in the back eating. Even if my particular stylist was not eating and chatting up a storm in the back with everyone else, this is the impression that was given when no one ever came out to update me. This whole issue was compounded by the fact that the salon has closed-off stations rather than open-air stations on one big floor. In other words, I couldn't motion for anyone's attention to ask about my appointment. When stylists run late, the only logical and professional thing for them to do is have someone update you that they are running late and will be ready as soon as they can. Ignoring new customers is not the way to keep them. Given that no one seemed to miss us, I guess they aren't interested in new business. Minor points: I found the receptionist a little rude over the phone. At the end of the call, I said "thank you" and she said "ok". Lol. Shouldn't she thank me or at least say "you're welcome"? There is a posted sign about not bringing your kids with you to the salon unless they have appointments. I understand the desire behind this policy. It's not the decision I would make for a salon, as I wouldn't want to cut off that segment of the population who needs to bring a well-behaved child on the random occasion. In any event, I think the policy should be advertised beforehand, during the initial call. I showed up with my five-month old, read the sign and then felt sheepish. I am now one-hour post the appointment time. No one ever called me to find out where I was/went. Bottom line, the hospitality element was entirely lacking. If that's not what you care about, you might get a nice cut, I just don't know. read more

I was a walk in client who walked in one Wednesday and all I was in need of was a color and a trim. I was told no one had time for me and the young lady who was at the desk was really rude and I felt extremely uncomfortable and as if I were not good enough to be a client in this salon. This was my first try at a hair cut in the Warner Robins area. It was easy to make an appointment (next day), and the price was average ($35). Tracey was my stylist and did a great cut on my curly hair. Most places I just opt out of the blow dry and leave with my hair up, but she spent another 20 minutes straightening it. If your time matters to you, do not go here. I have tried 2 different stylist and neither were on time for my appointment, neither apologized. One when confronted about it, basically justified them standing and talking with a client after their appointment. I arrive 5 minutes early to on the dot on time. When I sit and wait 15 minutes past my appointment time. No one comes out and says anything and when the stylist does come out, no apology or acknowledgement. This is not the place for me. However I gave them another try, and went back. Only to be waiting 10 minutes past my appointment time. I walked out. If my time is not worth anything, then neither is my money. I don't understand how they stay in business. Also after walking out, I did not receive a text, call or message. Which just proves, they don't care. When the person that recommended me asked about it, basically it was justified. I booked an appointment online with Kevin because after looking at some of his work online I thought he did color really well. This is in their new location. When you arrive you're greeted with an iPad, I signed in. I used their restroom and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Had someone been at the front desk I could have asked for some. I left work early and got there 15 minutes prior to my appointment time. He did after 20 minutes came out and said he hadn't forgotten about me and that I was his last appointment of the day. Well a girl walked in after I'd been there for 30 minutes and he came and took her back. OK, so I guess my time isn't important I thought. Well he came and got me when he was done with her. I told him I didn't like brassiness or gold in my hair. I wanted highlights which I already had but my roots had grown out, but that's not what I got. I got one color on top of my head that was solid white! He constantly kept putting color on my hair and I continued to tell him my scalp was hurting. He didn't listen. Well while I'm at the appointment another girl showed up and he started working on her. To me it's just rude. I waited long enough, it was late. She had just called him and apparently they knew each other. Finally he was cutting my hair she sat behind him watching through the mirror and complaining that he was taking too long on my hair and she was tired of waiting. Really? You came in and took over my appointment time and he was apologizing to her! By the time I checked out, he hugged me and squeezed my behind. Unprofessional!! I didn't think that this was cute at all! I got home under my lights and saw yellow throughout my hair, top of my head is white, bottom half had my highlights from previous color and pieces of uneven cut hair all throughout. My scalp was red and burned for 3 days! I spent way too much money and did not get what I asked for! My hair is still recovering from what he's done to it! Will not return!
