I'm sharing my mother's experience because she's so embarrassed about her hair she won't do it herself . She's going on vacation in two days and wanted to have her hair looking good . Let's just say she walked into the salon looking better than when she walked out . She came home crying it was so bad, she wanted to go to Jayna because her reviews were so good but settled for an older lady (Susan I believe is her name) that is self employed there since Jayna was unavailable and she was in a time crunch . She asked for her hair to be dyed blonder with subtle brown natural highlights . She came out with chunky blonde highlights in random places throughout her hair , her hair was chopped up and had several long pieces that were missed during the cut . She asked for her hair to be straightened and dried before the cut because she didn't like wet hair cuts . She was told by the stylist "I don't like using hair straighteners" and continued doing a wet hair cut and didn't fully blow dry it before sending my mother out the door . Luckily my moms old stylist saw the pictures of how bad her hair was and was compassionate enough to fit her in for tomorrow so she didn't have to go on vacation looking like some inexperienced home stylist did her hair . We did call and ask for a refund but instead she wanted my mom to come back in so she could "try to correct" her hair but my mother will never go back there . Hopefully people see this review and make the drive to nearby cities such as Macon or warmer robins to find a stylist who listens to your wants and needs and does the job right the first time instead of losing money not everyone has. read more
