From my very first phone call to the end of our first appointment, everything exceeded my expectations. I was able to get an appointment much sooner than I expected, which was a huge plus. Christian at the front desk was fantastic from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly organized. He made sure all of our paperwork was completed before our appointment, so I wasn't trying to juggle forms while chasing a 19-month-old toddler around the office. At the end of our visit, he also let me know I could call him anytime if I had questions about insurance or future payments, which I really appreciated. Our dental hygienist, Elizabeth, was amazing with my son. To give you an idea, my toddler literally puckers his lips shut and squirms every time I brush his teeth, so I knew getting him to open his mouth for a stranger wasn't going to be easy. They first tried using the regular chair with the TV, but when that wasn't enough, they had a special bench that allowed me to comfortably hold him in a position where Elizabeth could safely and thoroughly clean his teeth. She was unbelievably patient and had so many little tricks to help keep him calm. Despite all the toddler wiggles, she did an incredible job cleaning his teeth. Dr. Husain was just as wonderful. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my son's small cavity. Rather than rushing into treatment, he took a conservative approach and created a thoughtful plan that made sense for such a young child. I never felt pressured, and I really appreciated that he focused on what was best for my son instead of jumping to the most aggressive option. While we were waiting, I noticed Dr. Husain's education and training, and I was genuinely impressed. Seeing that he trained at prestigious institutions like UCLA, USC, and Yale for pediatric dentistry gave me even more confidence that we were in excellent hands. I'll admit, I was skeptical when I saw all the five-star reviews before booking. I thought there was no way a dental office could actually be that good. I'm happy to say I was completely wrong. Every single person we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making the experience positive for both kids and parents. The office itself is beautiful, modern, and spotless. The waiting room is full of toys, so my son honestly thought we were at an indoor play place instead of a dental office. It was my sons first dentist visit ever (at 4 years old, I know I'm late!) and I was really nervous about it AND I had my baby with me so I had a lot on my hands. The staff and environment are super inviting and perfect for kids. The way he treated her and interacted with her was just what I was looking for. My daughter does have special needs and he is so accommodating to her. I was comparing everyone to him. I know I shouldn't have but my daughter went a year without a check up . I just couldn't find anyone else. Once I heard from my friend that he was starting his own practice I was so excited!! I started to follow High Five on IG. I signed up on their website about getting updates. Soon enough I was called to make an appointment. I made an appointment for my daughter on 2/2/24. Our commute one way was around 40 mins. This goes to show I am willing to drive to High Five so my daughter can see Dr. Kereem. They are located in a shopping center off Wardlow Rd and Norwalk Bl. Parking wasn't an issue there is plenty of parking spaces. Walking in I was greeted by two nice receptionists. The waiting room had plenty of seating, iPads for the kids to use while they wait to be called. When they called my daughter back the space is an open space which I like. They also have an extra room that's secluded for those children who need that. I was speaking to Dr.Kereem and you can tell he is so excited for this. Since this was a soft opening little things he told me still had to be done. Like hanging up things on the wall. But everything look great!! My daughter had her X-rays done. She was taken to the chair to get her teeth polished. As she sat down she was asked what movie she wanted to watch as she was getting her teeth clean. After the cleaning Dr. Kereem did the exam. I really like the prize wall at the end. I have never seen a Dentist office do that. So he gave her a quarter to go and pick a prize from the gumball machine. Then we checked out with a receptionist and scheduled an appointment in 6 months. Congratulations again Dr. Kereem!!!! Thank you for going above and beyond. I can tell you love what you're doing!! I'm so happy to have found Dr. Kereem!! This was by far the best dental experience my child has ever had. She even asked "can we go back to the dentist next week??" Dr. Kereem and his staff were patient, attentive and gentle with my daughter. I love how they explained everything that was going to happen, so she knew what to expect. She was nervous going in but they really made her feel at ease. Also can we talk about how COOL this dentist office is??? Everything is new and clean. The waiting room had a tv playing kids shows. And they also had iPad stations where the kids would play. The bathroom even had the word "smile" tiled into the floor. And by far one of the coolest things about his office is at the end of the visit the kids get to go to the vending machine station and pick out a toy. Brought back major 90s nostalgia and my daughter was ecstatic. I also loved how easy the billing process was. In the past I have had other dentists be shady with the cost and make errors with our insurance. Here they let me know upfront my coverage and all costs associated and handled all the insurance smoothly. We will be back for our next check up. He's on the autism spectrum and really struggles with sensory stuff but Jessica was AMAZING and Dr Kereem made him feel so comfortable.
