A great deal of finds hide here, including vinyl, China, jewelry, gemstones, print media, art, antiques, clothing, vintage, handbags, etc. There is a little something for everyone. Woodstock is a diverse and eclectic town but it's also famous for its Mower's Flea Market every Saturday and Sunday in a big grassy area. Hubs and I have always made it a point every time we come to Woodstock in the last 20 years, to stop here first (out of nostalgia) before making the drive down home. Quite honestly, we've scored several hand-made pieces and a vintage Dashiki hubs had found for me. Mower's is made up of several vendors all selling something different. Over the years though, the amount of vendors have dropped. And forget about COVID last year- because it didn't take place and was weird looking at vendor-less lot when we came to the area for a day trip in the Fall of '20. But alas, Mower's is back in business and we were delighted to see more vendors (almost) recently like we used to 20 years ago. You'll find antiques, memorabilia, some kitsch- the same way you'll find locally made products. The way I see it, it's a shopping haven for me. This flea market is really wonderful and one of the best I've been to. I was thrilled to see they were even taking temp checks as you entered. Parking was free and easy. It's kind of a bummer that they didn't have a bathroom with plumbing- but honestly it's a quick loop to walk around and it's fine. I'm glad we discovered this place. Not just a bunch of reselling aliexpress stands like some flea markets can be. Bought a few things fairly priced, the people running everything were more than nice and the rules are clear and fair. On Route 28 in Arkville, NY, hubs and I have found great Magic antique+vintage pieces at a serious bargain. These folks have been here as long as I've been coming up to the Catskills when the entire field was FILLED elbow-deep with vendors. They've dwindled over the years and you can count the stalls with your hand now. Regardless, spend a few solid hours just browsing through what they have because you'll find a piece or two that'll catch your eye with the limited supply. One particular vendor name Lou- who we've purchased from- used to have loads of vintage pieces- and somehow sold commercial cleaning supplies (brand new) for cheap. Bizarre mix for an outdoor flea market- but it has worked. Another vendor who we met on a Sunday name Federika(sp?) sold me a $30 heavy-a-f*ck mirror that I couldn't pass up. I also couldn't haggle with that. For the poundage on it, I swore it was at least $75 or more. Oh, and bring cash- because these folks most likely, not have a Square.

Bought a beautiful organic cotton, wool, and alpaca hoodie for travel to Japan in October! Also found cotton /wool blend socks for the same upcoming trip! Woo hoo! Scored! There was also a long line for ??? So we queued up to see why... By the time we got to the front of the line, the display cases were mostly empty of baked goods (it was a bakery kiosk!) but we shared one (1) chocolate pretzel croissant. Didn't look impressive, but looks can be deceiving! Wow! What a delicious, flavorful chocolate croissant, crispy on the outside and an explosion of chocolate in the moist interior! We should have bought more! Overall a great flea/farmers' market! Try it!

There are stacks of 33.3 rpm vinyl records; maybe you'll find something. It's ironic that most people got rid of them when it was almost impossible to find phonograph needles several decades ago. Remember Walk-man's MP-3's? Where are they now?! Stalls of clothing, semi-antiques, jewelry, old magazines and toys. There are some things that make you wonder; like old black and white, family photos in albums. Who were these people and how did they end up a flea market? There's no captions. It's like everyone looked up the highest eBay asking price and tripled it, hoping to find an idiot. Dollar bin trash records are being sold for prices that insult your intelligence. The absolute worst instance of this up-your-own-buttness was a common Green Goblin trading card, worth about 25 cents, being sold for ten dollars. This is either stupid or malicious, and it compels one to just stop even looking around. If you pay these prices, you are not smart. You are the people these vendors depend on; don't fall for it. If you're a good vendor, sorry - you're surrounded by people who are killing your business by demotivating real buyers from even caring. And please, do not give me that asinine line that "something is worth whatever someone will pay for it". That's garbage. I've been in this business for 25 years. You're wrong. Flea at 99, get better vendors. Selection means nothing if it's all so far above reasonable pricing. I'm not even looking for a discount, just a fair price. Not here. I'd rather dig through the garbage than be insulted like this.

Located in what used to be a fully operating airport, Stormville Airport Antiques is L.I.T.E.R.A.L.L.Y. popping at the seams with hundreds of vendors selling vintage items from glass to wood furniture to metal knick-knacks, old-school vinyl- the list is endless. Come prepared with your sneaks and get ready to spend a few hours (or the entire day) walking on the lawn. You'll meet folks who could care less- but deep down would want you to buy their stuff and you'll also meet those charismatic vendors who'd want to tell you the item's life history. Stuff here is cheap. Not cheap in quality- cheap in price that is. Hubs and I forgot to bring our own ca$h so ended up paying the $4 ATM fee per the $200 limit.
