Didn't really ask for feedback if I wanted to do a certain thing, just kinda chopped and when I said "it could be a little shorter" she refused. Also, the only reason I went to her was because of a groupon, an all Inclusive price, then she has the nerve to tell me I owe her for going over time.. what do you mean? you set a flat price for your Groupon and now you're charging me more? please. I basically gave her $75 when the Groupon was only $40. just because of "extra time" like holy overcharging for every little thing. Won't be returning, especially for those prices. Mediocre hand massage, mediocre scalp massage, boring!

I recently received a perm at royal salon. The perm was good but I felt Rita was dishonest to me…read more I called ahead to ask how much a perm would be for short hair and she said around 165$. Then when she was done she charged me 224$. She said it cost more because she also had to cut my hair after the perm. All she did was cut it. She did not blow dry it or curl it. All the perms I have ever had which dates back 40 years the cut has always been included in the price. I will not be going back to her to to dishonest pricing she gave me.

Rita should be put out of business. She destroyed my hair and has no skill as a hair stylist…read morewhatsoever. She's too busy talking to pay attention to her work, and it seemed like I knew more about the process than she did. She messed up my hair so bad, both cut and color, charged me $500, and I had to immediately go to a new salon to chop off most of my hair & fix the color. That cost $400. Rita REFUSED to work with me and refused to refund any of my money. I don't know how she is possibly still in business but all I can say is I wish I read reviews first- so if you're reading this, STAY AWAY! Dont let this woman touch your hair and then on top of it sell you bad quality products (she likes to ask you what products you use, and then tells you how "bad" they are and she will set you up with something else) Oh. And she was late to the appointment, which was a nice added touch

Modern, colorful, classy and clean. Complimentary coffee, tea and water, as per usual. Tons on magazines to browse for coif inspiration. It can trend a little bit on the pricey side, but be savvy about what you want and how to package it. And don't cheap out on the tip! These ladies and gents deserve it! I can't review this place without mentioning my absolute savior of hair, Brook. She's an amazing stylist that does a bang up job interpreting what you want based on a picture or even a couple buzz words (layering, fringe, chunky funky bangs). She has never failed to shape my 'do into a mini masterpiece. She has an uncanny knack for matching highlights and base tones to compliment your natural complexion, but is equally as talented at throwing traditional out the window and embracing some funky color--without slipping into clownish. Her demeanor is always bubbly and bright and she really gets to know her regulars well, not just what they like done to their hair but what's going on in their life. (Also, her mini scalp massage is to die for!) Brooke's also great at elaborate updos for that special occasion and makes her own hair flowers and jewels to adorn your coif. She will even be doing my sister's wedding hair in April! Did a quick run through a couple months back before my sis tried on dresses and her hair looked resplendent! Brook and the entire staff of Wild Roots will pamper you and leave you feeling like a million bucks! Give it a whirl if you live in the area! (And even if you don't, like me!)
