When we bought our home 6 years ago, we knew we would have to replace all of the back windows as they were original to the home and beginning to rot. What we didn't know was that the front windows were almost worse than the others even though they were relatively new. These Renewal by Anderson windows were horribly difficult to open, installed extremely poorly, and terribly inefficient as far as heating and cooling were concerned. Our salesman, Charley, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very patient, listened attentively and described every aspect of the job ahead. He helped us to choose the best options for our situation and we were pleasantly surprised that this project would cost less than we anticipated. Although we already trusted Taylors, Charley made us feel even more confident in our decision. Installation took 3 days due to the size of the project and number of windows. The crew was incredible all around. Super nice guys who barely stopped working even for a short lunch break. These men were so polite, courteous and clearly proud of the work they were doing. This wasn't a one and done crew. This was a crew of professionals who are craftsmen, and the end result shows. They did an outstanding job and we honestly can't say enough about how nice it was to have them here for those three days. We were dreading the install and it ended up being so much easier than anticipated because of the professionalism of this team. The windows themselves are amazing. We have already noticed that our home is no longer drafty, insects aren't creeping in around windows anymore and quiet - oh my goodness, who knew windows could make such a difference. We can barely hear road noise anymore despite our busy location. We are really looking forward to seeing the energy savings. If you are in need of new windows in your home, look no further than Taylors. You are not going to find anyone cheaper for a quality product and professionally done install. As I stated earlier, previous owner used Renewal by Anderson and those windows cost them more than we spent with Taylors. Shamefully, those windows were total garbage and we are so happy to have them replaced with new Taylors windows. All in all a terrific experience with this company, even better than expected. These windows are much larger than my original ones, supposedly insulated, but IMHO, colder in my house than before. What I'm really surprised about is no one has contacted us from the company to see if we are satisfied, to come out and see if the job was completed to their standards or just to say thanks! The people at WW are very professional and courteous. I had a minor cosmetic issue on the interior trim of one of the windows that was installed and they sent out someone to fix the issue at no charge. I have been told that other more expensive vendors offer higher quality windows which might be even more energy efficient, but the high initial extra cost cannot be justified, since it would take decades to recoup any significant amount of the investment in energy savings. I would recommend WW and I would NOT recommend Champion Windows, as they used high pressure sales tactics in order to get me to sign and pay before WW could come out to give me their estimate. With Champion, I could only afford to replace 3 openings instead of all 7, and they refuse to refund even part of my deposit since I missed their 3 day cancellation deadline. I even filed a complaint with the SC department of consumer affairs, and that prompted a regional manager to reach out to me, but he simply restated what every other rep from their company said, "no refund after 3 days, no exceptions." No work was started, so they did not experience any financial loss, however, I am out a substantial amount that I will never see, yet despite all that, what I paid for all of my windows (not just 3) and including the 30 percent I lost, I am still better off, because I have all of my windows replace and even if I never recoup my investment, I now have gorgeous windows in the front of my house and easy to clean bedroom windows for the first time. If you want decent quality windows at a more reasonable price, I would recommend Window World of the Upstate over any other company!

My wife was particularly impressed how clean they left the work area, inside and outside. We purchased our recent house a short while back, and decided to replace the original windows(11 in total) with the lifetime warranty windows made by Sunrise. This is our second large purchase from Sunrise windows, first for our house in Illinois and now in Columbia SC. Based out of Michigan, I believe sunrisewindows.com is one of the few companies with the V-groove options. This eliminates the Colonial style grids, the V-grooves are lines or patterns carved in the glass panel therefore you get amazing light and the view is not obstructed by the grid pattern. Plenty of frame color choices, in Illinois we had white on the outside and the inside frame matched the hardwood door. They were Double Hung, for the Columbia house we opted for the Casement windows. Either style includes an easy to remove screen, either style allows for easy window cleaning from the inside. For reference, the windows are S2100A with Argon, high efficiency. The S2100A windows I believe are applied with 12 layers of coating. Architectural Glass Co. Of Greer, South Carolina is not only a great family business passed down from father to son, but also an authorized Sunrise Replacement Windows dealer/installer listed on sunrisewindows.com. Worth mentioning, the previous windows had a worthless lifetime warranty with a large window manufacturer chain, the previous owner managed to have them send replacements for the bad windows but they sent the actual glass only and would have been a waste trying to install them, the plastic frame was so damaged from the sun they would have snapped. This is not the case with Sunrise windows, our Casement style windows have a code imprinted on them. If ever needed, all we have to do is to call Architectural Glass Co. with the code and Sunrise will send exact match to be swapped easily. If we sell the house, the new owners can also call the Sunrise directly, the lifetime warranty is still honored. Keep in mind, these are premium windows and cost relatively more, especially if you choose V-groove carved in the glass for patterns or other custom colors etc. However, it's definitely worth it for the looks, quality and piece of mind.

Recently, and why I am writing this review, I had to call to replace a pane of a window due to mineral deposits inbetween the glass due to a faulty seal. Also a couple of pieces broke on another window. This is after more than 5 years and they do not manufacture the product, just install. They came out and checked and measured and repaired, all with a great attitude and very friendly. I will be replacing the roof in the next 5 years and B and F will be doing the job. Thanks you guys !!
