Approximately two hours before the appointment I received a call from Sam indicating the esthetician assigned to do my facial would not be in and he professionally reviewed my options. Having the opportunity to do that before arriving was greatly appreciated! I skipped the facial and relaxed in the zen room which was the perfect prelude to my scrub and massage. After a hot foot soak my wife and I were off to more treatments. The ocean scrub was amazing. The balance of exfoliation with the salt wrap was amazing and left my entire body (ok 90% of it) feeling baby smooth and soft. Shawn Marie did an amazing job and had the right balance of pressure and healing touch and I was very "healed" upon completion. My wife was very satisfied with Patricia's professionalism as well. Patricia listened to what her client expressed in terms of where she felt tension, where she carries her stress and went to work. All interactions felt authentic, personal and it is clear the staff are true professionals, not someone in training or someone just figuring out how to be a therapist. I have always felt very comfortable-I have the personality that needs to be distracted and we have talked about just about everything. ( I believe if you're not a talker Jessyca would respect that too. ) Her products are natural and I have NEVER had **any** kind of reaction to the waxes or coloring (to my brows.) While there is some initial pain in any waxing process, Jessyca does all to make sure any discomfort is minimal ( and I can say for each process it has been minimal. I do not have fine hair or thick skin.... ) It has been my experience that before each *application* Jessyca ensures the wax is not too hot and you are ready. She also does not leave an area until you are ready. The pain is A LOT LESS than traditional waxing AND has always subsided before I left the studio (I have felt pain a lot longer using traditional waxes and had reactions too. I have also NOT noticed any other client in any kind of distress or discomfort.) I also feel Jessyca's pricing is very competitive. She also has never had a "pushy" upsell manner.
