This is a great restaurant masquerading as a bar. Really great food and huge portions. Cold beer, plenty of space and a great menu with rotating specials.

We came to watch CFB, plenty of TVs and the staff is friendly and helpful. Try the tater kegs, crab stuffed jalapeños and the burgers. Everything they brought was tasty. A definite stop for eats and drinks. You won't be disappointed

I really like this place I would give 5 stars if the bartenders were a little friendly. Great place to get food and have a drink. Fun pool playing crowd. Just terrible bar staff. She acted like I was bothering her ever time I asked for a drink or food. She does seem to treet the locals good. I will say if she was as dedicated to customers as she was messing with her hair she would be awesome.

Stopped by for lunch and had the chicken fried steak that was highly recommended. The flavor of the meal was good and will be back to try some other menu items. The sweet tea was great and not overly sweet. They have plenty of parking and indoor seating. This location is a full service bar, so they have a large assortment of alcoholic beverages. They also have live music on the weekends. Overall a good experience. Just understand this is place is a bar that includes with a restaurant.

Great food, service and cold beer! Best bar burger ever and multiple TVs with sports and trivia.

This is one of those places where you walk in, stand in line, place your order and go find a seat. When your order is ready, they'll bring it out to your table. Staff is very friendly and the evening we went, there were three or four young men that were taking food to the tables and clearing tables and they were all very friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday night, and there was a good flow of people in and out the entire time we were there. We didn't have a hard time finding a table initially, but the place filled up quickly. But there are five or six other restaurants within a block to two blocks around this place, so there was a lot of foot traffic and a lot of people eating out in that area. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and I have to tell you that is one of the most amazing burgers I have had in the last few years. Amazing! The burger was cooked perfectly and had several strips of crispy bacon, melty cheese, lettuce, pickle, tomato, and red onion, and the meat was seasoned perfectly. I got the fries, and they were crispy seasoned well and extremely tasty. I told my wife as we were sitting there eating that this place was definitely on our list of eating establishments the next time we were in Port A, and you can bet we will be down there for another burger.

After searching for what felt like forever to find a highly recommended spot -- even Port A Escapes…read morelisted this place as a must‑try -- we decided to give it a shot. I've traveled all over the world and up and down the U.S. coastline, and I understand beach‑town dining can be hit or miss. But this experience left us genuinely confused about the glowing reviews. We walked into a tiny establishment where the bar was fully staffed and drinks were flowing, yet we couldn't even get served food. Alcohol seemed ready to go, but the kitchen was moving at a pace that made no sense. We were told food would take over an hour. For a place this small, that's baffling. It made me wonder if the rave reviews were written through "vacation goggles" -- sunburned, tired, or a few drinks in -- because from our sober perspective, nothing about the service or setup matched the hype. Maybe the "excellent" part of the name refers strictly to the bar, because the grill definitely felt off‑duty. We ended up leaving without ever getting food. Not the experience we were hoping for.
