You can't request any music - an instrumental / ocean waves are the only option you have. I don't particularly enjoy beach wave sounds, but it's easy to tune out. She didn't ask for my preferred scent (though she did make sure I wasn't allergic to anything), which was also a disappointing - I was hoping to be able to pick one out if possible. The massage itself was great - she did an amazing job with applying DEEP pressure, which I really needed with some knots in my shoulders. A lot of massage therapists often only do light/medium pressure, which doesn't loosen you up enough. Overall, it was great for the price / Groupon deal.
