The staff is not fully trained and aware of shaping a straw hat evident as the young lady tried to to bend by hand without steaming. Wearing a hat for 50 years that's 101. She started to crease the hat and misshape it. I offered guidance by showing the nice young lady the steps to shape the hat. The elderly manager on duty demanded that I step away from the section where the steamer was located of which i had no intention of using. I tried to explain that the process being used would damage to the hat. Unfortunately the manager came across as disconcerning and lack of knowledge. I would strongly discourage anyone from.doing business especially touching a hat! The manager tried to challenge me about my knowledge and tell me to steam the hat myself, further accentuating my point about her gross lack of knowledge and ability to satisfy a customer.

Just like the straw I got, I have been admiring the handywork of the hat shapers there. I took a risk by ordering an unconventional color but the green looks great in different lighting and compliments just about every shirt I wear with it.
