Excellent service for a strange project. A fender-bender made it so that the headlight on my 2016 Prius kept going out when it rained. The folks at Hidden Valley Auto Body not only replaced the headlight assembly that was cracked and leaked water to the headlight, but they also secured my front bumper so that the car looks like it did before the fender-bender. In the past I had taken my cars to other shops in the larger cities and out of our county thinking the larger chains and bigger shops would be better. I learned the hard way that is not the case. After being burned by a chain of shops in Santa Rosa I discovered Hidden valley auto body. I'm an grateful for the owners experience, integrity and honesty. He could had easily hustled me into expensive and poorly repaired work like other places have (especially because I'm a girl) but he is honest and transparent. My recent repair was done at a fraction of the cost others would had charged and he helped me repair my girl without doing anything unnecessary or over the top. Earlier this summer, I damaged the roof of my car while trying to open my closed electric garage door during a power outage and fire evacuation order in Hidden Valley Lake. In doing so, I damaged the roof of my car. I brought my 2010 Buick Lacrosse to Hidden Valley Lake Auto Body with some trepidation as to whether I could pay for the damage. HVL Auto Body did an honest and excellent job. The price was affordable and the owner-occupied family is wonderful. I am a retired police officer (police commander, retired after 28 years of service in San Mateo County). I have no problem in giving HVL Auto Body two thumbs up. Alright, these guys were awesome. Brought my ugly burnt orange car in (her name is "Snooky") to have the sunroof replaced. Didn't realize they were closed on the weekends, and didn't get off work in time on friday to pick it up. On Sunday, I really needed my car, so someone went down on their day off and was kind enough to make sure I got my key. So, A+!!! Also, A+ job on the sunroof replacement. Excellent service! I mean, like what your family would do for you. I was driving in the area when my radiator got overheated. My car is old and apparently the gasket was all worn out and there was no antifreeze left in the radiator. I got some emergency help nearby but I was advised to check with auto body shop before proceeding back to SF. I googled auto body shop and Hidden Valley Auto Body was the most convenient one to go to. Once I got there, I got immediate attention and the gentleman (I wish I asked for his name) immediately offered to check the car for me. I desperately needed a new gasket. In order to get it, I had to wait for some time so someone would deliver it to the shop. I did not want to wait as I wanted to got on the road as early as I could. Because I did not want to wait, he actually sold his own brand new gasket to me because (I was lucky had also had a Honda). I made it back safely to San Francisco all because I got the help from the shop that only family would provide. They really saved me. Very grateful. read more
