I travel for work. My sister brought my dog in and had her put down, not once did any staff member think to contact me. They believed the lies of a narcissist. The owner contacted me and obviously this name is not in their system. This clinic staff is intentionally obtuse. I'll never need to contact to "resolve" them putting my dog down. read more

Office staff is very rude, especially the woman named Mary and the other younger girl behind the desk with glasses. Very disappointing being the face of that business right when you walk in. Mary is the most unpleasant woman Ive ever met. Always rude and snippy to customers. I cant believe this business cant find more pleasant people to work their front desk. Mary has been there for years and never changes. Same rude disposition always!!! Do better Hidden Springs!!!! They are there to interact with customers! I am reviewing the dog grooming there not the vet. I Would never take your pups there as my dog had a near death experience. I had gone three times total. I had bad vibes the first two times but I said I'll give her one more shot. The first time she gave my dog a bath only for $45 had a hard time grooming her. I then went three weeks later she groomed her but my dog came home and seemed very depressed, sleepy and had diarrhea for 24 hrs. I had initially thought she had just given her a treat that made her sick. Six weeks later went again and I get a phone call one hour later that my dog had collapsed on the table. She asked if my dog has a history of seizures or heart disease, I said no never what happened!! I rushed over there and my poor dog looked half dead. She's a very small dog. I brought my dog home and she couldn't even lift her head up she was so loopy and out of it ! I believe she had been for sure given some calming drug such as Benadryl or something else to calm her so she could groom her easier and overdosed her and/ or they had the restraint around her neck and she was possibly choked. They said her tongue turned blue and they had to give her oxygen. I would never take an insect there! I asked if the owner could call me and they never did! I only spoke with the manager and that's all she did was stick up for her saying they don't administer anything and kept saying your dog is fine right! ? I had my vet check her out and they did not agree with the blue tongue and seizure etc. My dog is in perfect health. What a traumatic, scary, stressful experience! Thank God with many prayers she rebounded and survived. read more

If you love your pet, steer clear of Hidden Spring. Our rescue dog had a bad case of bladder stones and Hidden Spring agreed to performing surgery. We were nervous at first, because Hidden Spring is not our primary doctor, but they reviewed our dog's case and reassured us multiple times that the surgery was very routine and would be two hours tops. Fast forward 7 hours later- we were scrapping our dog up off the emergency table and rushing him to another specialist. Hidden Spring apologized again and again- even admitted that they shouldn't have done the surgery. The specialist we took our dog to was successful, but we were charged 2,000 for an emergency over night stay. Hidden Spring cut their bill almost in half- as if this was generous of them. We talked to the doctor and said it was odd we should pay anything considering they botched the surgery and it costed us an additional 2,000 dollars via the over night stay. They were not willing to forgive the bill and had no concern of our dog pre or post operation. The best part- Hidden Spring withheld a prescription we NEEDED for our dog, post surgery, until we payed the bill. I am absolutely disgusted by the ethics of Hidden Spring. This review has nothing to do with the money itself- as I would gladly spend my entire savings on my rescue dog. I feel compelled to share my experience because I trusted Hidden Spring and that decision ended in a very long night of heart break and anxiety. read more

Didn't even go here. As soon as I called, I was put on hold for several minutes. Then the receptionist picked up the phone rudely yelling hello and snidely asked if I had been helped. When I said no, she had just put me on hold, all I got in return was nothing but attitude. I finally said that with her attitude, I didn't want help from her. If that's how you treat someone who was interested in becoming a new customer, that's just sad. read more

These Ladies are THE best. Knowledgeable and friendly. I am SUPER picky in veterinary care for my dogs. Honestly they are the only kids i will have and this place really cares. The Techs are super nice as are the vets. I always have 1000 + 1 questions and they do a great job answering them. They go above and beyond. They have a few animals roaming around - always friendly. They're facilities are always clean. And they have a very nice waiting room and coffee available - but i have never had to wait more then a few minutes. Parking is great - lots of space. This is the best veterinary clinic i have been to and i will remain a loyal customer because of the quality of care my dogs receive. read more

Contacted hidden springs because I was concerned for the well being of my dog. I asked a simple yes or no question in regards to symptoms of Lyme disease or tick related diseases. I was told that because I hadn't been there for 3 years they just couldn't tell me any information. - translation - you haven't paid us recently. Thanks for nothing. The next two veterinary clinics I contacted were happy to put me at ease and inform me that the symptoms my beloved dog had were not tick related. One day later my dog is back to normal. Hidden springs would have taken hundred of dollars from me for nothing. read more

Carpet in exam rooms, yuck! Very disappointed with Hidden Springs Vet - receptionist not very friendly, vet tech gave my pet several treats during exam and continued to give treats by the minute even after I said I did not give her treats. The vet was pleasant. And the primary reason we will not be returning is the entire place has carpet throughout. The lobby, the exam rooms, everywhere. A vet office must be hard to keep clean, it would be impossible with carpet. read more

The vet always seems in a rush and leaves it up to the technicians to answer most of my questions and/or pawn off the often unnecessary medications for which they already charged me without discussion or approval at the end of exams. I accepted ... well, that "Hey they must be really busy and I'm just lucky to be here" feeling of the appointments until what I witnessed the last time following our appointment (where again the vet hurriedly rushed us off). I was still lingering in the waiting area for paperwork or a technician to answer my last question or something, when a man came in with a dog, explaining he was the one who had called to say he was on his way from an expensive animal hospital that he didn't want to visit. He was worried about his dog's fear of riding in the car as it made the dog vomit. The same vet who just rushed me off, spent almost 30 minutes with this guy who had no appointment! The Dr. went over anxiety techniques with him and what foods to feed the dog that will be over the counter vs. having to pay for Rx. They never did that with me; they totally peddled Rx food at me with no discussion the one time my pet picked up diarrhea. To top it off, at the end of of it, the man asks the receptionist, "Do you want me to pay since I just came in and took up your time?" "No, that's what we're here for." she says. I'm speechless; I can't seem to walk out of there with at least a $200 bill, and that's with seeing the vet for only 5 min. While that unscheduled, free visit is so very kind to the man with the dog experienceing a NON-emergency situation, it just showed me how the vet feels about the regular, established customer : Reel 'em in, rush 'em off and charge then up the whazoo. I left this place; you should, too. If you don't relate with my portrayal of the service, then do it because the wall-to-wall carpet on the floor is pretty gross considering sick pets are paraded through there daily. read more

HORRIBLE WOULD NEVER GO BACK. My family and I have been going to this clinic for some time, and the receptionist Mary is never pleasant and rolls her eyes. When they called me leaving a message for a friend's pet, I called back to give them the correct information. Mary answered the phone and when I explained I was just calling in the give the correct number her answer was. Well he was just here. I said ok, but they just called. She was like well I don't know sounding impatient and irritated. Really?!?! I just called in to give you the proper phone number. She transferred me to Dr. Danes who didn't apologize for the lady up front. Just said give me the number; I don't know why they are calling you. Than said I'll call him and hung up. I seriously doubt this is how Carol L Geake DVM wants her patients treated over something as simple as me calling in to give YOU guys the correct number that you didn't gather from the person who came in for the appointment the same day you called! My friend was a referred patient who is new to the area, and you were rude and he nor I will ever come back. Had you just taken the phone number and called the correct person this whole situation would have been nothing. Between Mary and Dr. Danes they completely lost 2 patients and referrals. read more
