HHR is literally an answered prayer and a blessing for me and for my two rescues. I needed a safe, clean, special and loving place for them where I could trust knowing my horses would be cared for the way they deserve and how I would care for them myself. It is clean, well-run and a family environment where you feel good driving up and knowing it's almost like a home away from home. It's nice seeing other boarders and having a chat or just a simple wave across the stalls! It's so peaceful there and people respect each other. James and Kym are usually working away and doing what they do best... keeping up the ranch to the highest standards for all of our babies!! They are both so helpful and just truly wonderful, sweet, hard-working people that exude the utmost professionalism, compassion, helpfulness and caring. Yes, there are places cheaper and there are places more expensive... but know that money can't replace just knowing your horses are safe and loved and cared for when you're not there. Having that trust and ability to sleep peacefully each night knowing James and Kym care for my horses just as they would their own and care so much about all the animals is priceless. I use to love this barn. Then the owners decided to send out an email to all boarders at 11:45 PM AT NIGHT, that they would be almost doubling board and no longer serving bermuda grass. While I completely understand needing to raise prices that seemed higher than necessary especially since they will only be serving alfalfa and Bermuda pellets. Once I gave notice I couldn't get either of the owners to give me a total so I took it upon myself to leave more than enough to cover any final expenseses. I don't like to leave a negative only review so I will say that the facility is always neat and clean with miles of beautiful trails. read more

This has by far in my best experience at any boarding facility. It is super clean, which is evident from the moment that you walk in. The horses are well taken care of, the amenities are great and everyone I've met here has been super nice and welcoming. The lessons with the owner are super educational and empowering. I feel like Horse people as a community can be a little bit intimidating, but this place did not feel like that at all. Highly recommend this facility! Very clean, lots of trees, & all the amenities you need. The waters are ALWAYS clean and fresh, offer extra hay if needed, and even turnouts for a minimal fee. Kym and James are great anything you need they try their best to accommodate. Adam, the stall guy is also super nice. Very family friendly I have a small child and it's nice to be able to come enjoy the horses with him and sit at one of the shaded picnic tables while I can turn my horse out. I have been at this barn for about 6 months. It was in the middle of winter that we arrived and I could NOT BELIEVE how clean and not muddy it was. My horse has never had to stand in mud, has clean water everyday, and the whole facility is kept clean which has been a tremendous help with flies this summer! Is is a quiet barn with friendly boarders and shady areas for the horses to get out of the heat. I have a whole spinal fusion so footing is very Important to me and my horse who has arthritis. The arena has great footing and is comfortable for both of us. I could go on and on about this barn and the professional care that the horses are given. My horse has been at Hidden Horse Shoe Ranch since March and we absolutely love it here. This place is immaculate! Outdoor stalls are roomy and cleaned daily, private tack lockers are a bonus. Horse water buckets are scrubbed regularly and are always crystal clear. They feed good qaulity hay and feeding times are regular. Boarders have the option of adding pine pelleted bedding which I love. They feed my mare her SmartPak supplements at no additional cost. The owners, James and Kym are very friendly and welcoming and its an overall great atmosphere. The other boarders have been friendly and helpful too. They have a big arena that is regularly tilled and its nice and soft. Kym is an experienced horse woman and she has been working with my 3 year old for over a month now and I'm very happy with her methods. She is gentle and patient and always ends on a good note. Well I am sorry to say that I moved my horse to this location April of this year in hopes that it was going to be as nice as the grounds are kept! But this place turned out to be a total nightmare. The owners do not like People who are present with their horses. They advertise NO drama but the truth is they are the drama. THEY talk about their borders horrible they talk about each other terrible. They don't have your horses back. They refuse to have someone on the property 24/7, Which is huge for me. The gate is left unlocked at night, with no security to keep your horse safe! Not to mention they run out of water, don't calculate correctly. Thank God for neighbors. The Hay is not of good quality. Couldn't ask the owner anything without her biting your head off. Always defensive! No training allowed on the property. They have lost many of boarders because of the Drama, backstabbing and flat out lying. Truly sad. If the attitude was as nice as the grounds were kept it would be Heaven. They have no plan of doing what it takes to make the boarders happy it's just about taking your money! I suggest you move on if considering this place. It isn't as it seems!!! read more
