We have had a few hiccups and the park manager Donnita and Rita have been the best and accommodating and making things awesome...The pool/hot tub are amazing and a great spot to relax... The showers are very clean and free... Free cable TV...Internet is what you expect internet in a park to be... Staying here in our 36ft motorhome for a couple of months.... Oh and did I mention the very reasonable rates and the access to all the great bike and hiking trails and 5 minutes to historic downtown Yuma....

Signs were even put up, and he can read, making him feel completely unwelcome. pretty sad when a bunch of old people bully a child for their own staff members mistake. mind you he is well behaved and caused no issues to warrant the bullying whatsoever, though I don't think any child no matter how they behave warrants adults permission to bully and mistreat him. IF you have grandchild, do not live here, as I do also and would never allow my children to be around any adult in this park. The new manager Chip even threw away my sons 2 games in the COMMUNITY GAME ROOM, stating to my face today that they do not have or want children so they THREW IT AWAY! Wow. There is so much more I can say and add, but I am now during them in a civil suit as I've now moved after the harassment and bullying on my son to protect him And I don't want to give them ammo to make up stories and attempt to use against me, as they have bullied tenants, and the previous manager who agreed to allow me to move there physically assaulted a disabled tenant after entering her home uninvited just a few months ago, which is why she no longer is the manager there. If you want to be completely miserable, , controlled, and your grandchildren bullied, move here. It's the cheapest in town, and there's many reasons why.

The location is very convenient, most needs are within a 10 to 15-minute drive. Western Sands is not a large park, and that may be one of the main reasons for being so comfortable; it doesn't take much to get to know most residents. Management is very helpful and takes good care of the amenities and residents with proper attention. The overall activities are very well managed, and there is something to do for everyone who wants to participate. We intend to continue spending the winters here as long as we can. The host told me I had to make a deposit for the first night. So I did. Unfortunately, on March 20, 9 days before my date of arrival on March 29, I had to cancel as our plans changed and we have to return to Canada early. They only tell you that the deposit is non refundable on your confirmation receipt, after you already paid the deposit. This is policy stinks, and should be changed to make it more customer friendly. There is even a dog bag station. There are wild donkeys that run through camp. I didn't see them but my friends heard them. Definitely saw their poop everywhere.
