I came to Doctor Book after years of chronic shin splints as a college soccer player, which my…read moretrainer has attributed to tissue damage because of contant high-impact strain. My athletic trainer at school and I had tried every excersize, stretch, recovery regimine, and resting for months with very little improvement. I went to Doctor Book as a last ditch effort for some relief, and after a few sessions of their PEMF machine I began to feel better for the first time in three years. I used to take a month off off all high-impact activity after my soccer season only to feel pain again my thrid or fourth practice back. This past winter however, aftering coming in consistantly twice a week for about a month, it took me two months of soccer 5-times a week, and weight lifting twice a week to feel any discomfort, without any upkeep on PEMF since I go to college out-of-state. Staff is always super friendly and it is a joy to come in everytime.

I felt right at home and followed the plan Dr. Joshua Budaj gave me for my chiropractic appointments. My back feels loose and light, which I wasn't expecting. I didn't understand what was going on at first, but Dr. Budaj explained what the issues were and why it was important to maintain alignment. I also saw Dr. David Budaj for a nutritional appointment. I've been taking my vitamins and following my plan. I feel good. Something I haven't been able to say (or have felt) in a long time. Because I had an existing well-known established chiropractor that I had been seeing for 25+ years, who is absolutely fabulous, I walked into this place very skeptical with all the guards up and thinking there's nothing this new place would be able to give me. But when I say walked, I really meant shuffled and stumbled because I was bent over in so much pain with every step. Without going into detail about my condition, I was depleted, in tears and easily agitated because of the nerve pain that I was experiencing. But when I walked out, I was eternally grateful for Dr. Adam and his team. Not only was everyone so professional and pleasant and the place was super clean. But what really stood out was the 1-1 interaction with Dr Adam and especially with Taylor, his assistant, with her empathy and support I felt seen which is important when you're already in a vulnerable state. Moreover, the quality of the care that I received was so exceptional that when I walked out of their office all I can say is I felt like I had a new body. Yes, it was temporary relief, and I will need to go back, but I walked out with smile and laughter and walking straight up, so much so that I felt compelled to share my story in writing this review because although I have a long journey to healing, with Dr. Adam and his team by my side I truly know I will get there and they helped to restore my faith and hope that I can get back to my pre-injury self. With so much gratitude.
