Grieving families deserve patience, respect, and understanding--not sales tactics…read more Our experience with Cashner was disappointing and added unnecessary stress during an already painful time. Less than 24 hours after my father passed, the representative began a fast-paced sales presentation while our family was still in shock and barely able to process the loss. Being pressured to make permanent decisions without empathy was overwhelming . The interaction felt rushed and transactional, with little compassion shown to our grieving family. Having to advocate for basic empathy while planning a parent's burial is unacceptable. I strongly encourage others to request a different representative before making any final decisions. Our initial representative was John. After we requested a change, Chrysten was assigned and was wonderful to work with; however, this occurred after all decisions had already been made, and we did not meet her until the day of our father's celebration of life at the church. I hope this feedback helps the cemetery reflect on how important patience, clarity, and compassion are when families are at their most vulnerable

After spending 4 hours there for presentations and selecting a cremation package we headed over to…read morethe burial site. The funeral side and burial side are two separate packages. We picked out our plot and package and just as we were about to sign, they said oh these prices aren't correct. After quoting us one price all through the walkthrough of pricing, they left the room to talk to the general manager and when they came back, the price doubled. I felt like we were in a used car dealership. We left buying nothing. It was a bait and switch.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO MAKE A SAD SITUATION WORSE!…read moreMother died with fully prepaid/pre planned funeral in July, 2025. She had prepaid in 2017. FOREST PARK/Woodlands: -had no record of her paperwork for they first hour of meeting, then magically found after years, runaround, showing them our copies. -charged us more. - told my parents they could be laid to rest together- only to go back on their word. -make my mother purchase 3 lots to bury 2 people because they didn't sell lots as pairs. -did not tell us that her headstone choice (black) wasn't available until 5 months after they supposedly ordered it. -March 26th- new headstone supposedly there, "going to take a couple of days to place, then we will send you a pic" SILENCE.... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS!

    1. They said to me, after my husband's sudden passing, "It's too bad you didn't plan for this…read moresooner; it would have saved you a lot of money." While true, not at all helpful in the moment. 2. They told me a temporary death certificate was useless and didn't tell me when the temporary one was available. I found out by accident they'd had a temporary one for two months that they never offered me. I lost months of social security benefits and three months of truck payments waiting on a final death certificate that I didn't even need for those things. Yes, it's my fault for not researching, but they should not share this faulty information. You'd think they would be the experts on these topics. 3. They called over and over after my husband died to get me to make my own arrangements. "These discounts are only available for a limited time." Seriously? 4. The services were fine. The facilities were nice enough but nothing exceptional, especially for the prices. I knocked off every single frivolous thing and it was still $26,000 to put him in a mausoleum, which was cheaper than burial. If not for the convenient location, I would never have used them.
