If you are worried about the old reputation go see for yourself the change, its awesome LOL! The staff are great, really friendly and caring but firm so the kids stay in line. The playframe has been extended with an addition of a karting track and sports pitch too and really covers all ages now and comfortably as the toddler area is now seperate. Theres good baby facilities and the menu looks good and reasonable. Theres a membership scheme now if you want to sign up and save money which will be a godsend in the holidays and the party options are fantastic- we just booked one for each of my kids bdays this summer- one on go karts and one in the disco... nice touch as you still get the usual softplay and party food but with a funky twist. We'll be returning plenty for years to come! LOL Oh and the best bit is its all been redecorated and CLEANED! 09 april 2010... We continue to visit Noah and Nellies as a family and continue to be impressed! Personally as a mum of 2 the addition of the extra treats available in the form of additional money such as the teddy grabber means i have to say no and such BUT my children no longer want or ask for them, i expain that we are at soft play not amusements and they are fine with it. The go karts are amazing, i disagree they are a waste of space and am happy to pay the extra for them if i need to BUT as we go often on Tuesdays we get a free ride which certainly goes down well with both my son and daughter. He had his party there along with 15 friends, softplay and gokarts option, and it is still one of the most talked about parties at school by the kids and parents alike for all the right reasons! LOL! My daughters was the disco softplay option and again, the kids adored it feeling quite the little divas in their own personal disco! We regularly make use of other promotions offered such as the AFTER SCHOOL MEAL DEAL ENTRY which at £5.50 per child includes entry and food. My only grumble would be there is no drink included BUT you can buy cups or jugs of sugar free squash really reasonably so its not a major issue! Combine this deal with the free gokart ride and you can see why we're there on a regular basis! I consider myself a smart and fair mum who enjoys spoiling the kids but isnt taken for a mug by businesses out to make quick money and as such i am happy to recommend Noah & Nellies to anyone! The staff are young but confident and still look old to the children! LOL! The Duty manager Ashley who ive got to know is an amazingly decicated Lad who has the team working well and keeps the building in check. The owner/manager too is very approachable and I love the fact they all mingle with parents asking opinions and then listening and acting on them when able. If at any point we've been unhappy with anything and mentioned it- be it unruley children, mess or other- it has been dealt with swiftly and politely and a valid explaination has been put forward, often before ive had chance to grumble LOL... As a company, they are also helping us parents out by offering various discounts if you keep your eyes open- theyre everywhere from the primary times, lots for tots etc to the invitation book. All offer various additional benefits and at times if you look around there are further vouchers available for your next visit once youre actually in the building!!! This easter was the icing on the cake for me when they invested what was clearly a lot of time and effort (and money) into holding various Easter hunts fot the children where the playframes were filled with balloons containing winning tickets to claim really nice easter eggs... obviously not everyone won which is sure to upset SOME people but then thats the whole point of competition which as a parent i believe is healthy and for us to decide if we wish our children to participate or not :o) I say keep up the great work noah and nellies and we'll see you soon...again !!!!

Areas to suit babies, under threes, under fives and upwards! A huge play frame to let the kids loose on and upstairs they can speed around the racetrack on electric go-karts (this costs extra), play air hockey, table football, table tennis or even play on the Wii A great place to eat with hot and cold menus, all freshly prepared in their kitchens. They do kids parties and have four themed rooms (Pirates, Princess, Pitstop and Undersea) for them to eat in before they're let loose on the equipment. A nice family run business, not just another franchised playbarn run by grumpy teenagers!

Parents are allowed to go into the area with their kids which is always good, especially if you've got younger ones, and there's loads there to keep you all amused. Wi-fi internet is available, so take the laptop along and get on with your own stuff while the kids play. The food is really good. When they first opened I got a peek at the kitchen and it was more like something out a 5* hotel than a cafe. Most of the food is proper cooked stuff, and there's a fair choice on the menu at reasonable prices. Most of the staff are really friendly, many have childcare experience. It's run by two couples who both have families so they've taken an proper interest in making the best of the place that they can. It's close to the school so it does get very busy at around 3pm but if you're able to go in the morning then it's lovely - I'd highly recommend taking a trip through Brigg to call in here if you're passing on the M180.

What they have done is taken an area of Tamworth where there was nothing/very little for kids to do and created a little goldmine (not jealous at all that I did not think of it first!!). The unit is in the middle of an Industrial estate and although that sounds odd - its literally walking distance from one of the biggest housing estates in Tamworth. They have transformed the inside spectacularly to accomodate the following; Large softplay/ ball pool for older children with amazing slides and tunnels. Smaller softplay area especially designed for toddlers. Enclosed netted area with goal posts and basketball hoops. large expanse of tables/seating for food. Comfy relaxed seating area with sofas. Specially painted themed party rooms (x3) Various drinks/popcorn/toy machines and a couple of rides for toddlers. Upstairs seating area/vewing gallery. Go kart area. The parties start from £6.50 and there are loads of different packages available depending on whether its a boy/girl. They have a wide range of hot and cold food available( not badly priced - quality just average- service poor). They even do hair cuts!! The environment is bright, stimulating, clean and above all safe. The security there is very good - they have doors that only staff can open to exit the main area. As I have just mentioned the food not outstanding, but other than that a fab place for younger kids to let off steam and run around. I would say its suitable up to about age 9. One other drawback - no licensed bar!!. I was tempted to take off a star for this - but then conceded its designed for kids.

The fine folks at Rainbow World bought out a large warehouse on a large industrial estate, and turned it into a play park full of slides, swings, ball pits and fun things to climb around on. There is also a mini go-karting area for £1 extra, with a size limit and minimum, but it's great fun! The prices are a bit high on weekends, but if you stay for a good few hours, it's worth the cash. The lighting is harsh, the decor is twee and it reminds you that once, you had weekends to go to quaint, tasteful cafes, and now spend time freezing on football pitches and drinking lukewarm Nescafe in equally freezing indoor play parks, because a little person calls the shots. Rainbow World can be rented out for children's parties in part or in full. As play parks go, it's not very large (Crash Bang Wallop is much better), but it does get the job done. A nice feature is the small basketball cum football court off to one side, and also a smaller "play grotto" for toddlers and tiny tots. There is food here, but imagine your worst frozen-pub-food nightmare, and that's what you should expect. I'd go for a Slushee, personally. The staff are some of the rudest, least hygienically presented I've ever seen. I've never been smiled at when at Rainbow World. The neat feature of not being able to leave or enter without someone opening the door for you means that staff can see you waiting at the door, roll their eyes and stomp over to open you out without a word. It's all very couth, really. Be warned: there are only about 15 parking spaces, and traffic wardens regularly go around looking for money to be made for the council. All in all, if you're desperate to give your tot something to do in the winter months, Rainbow World is alright, but it's really best avoided.

It is a cheap way to entertain your kids. Wear socks though - although if you forget they even have socks you can borrow! Drinks and food are reasonably priced, plenty of seating for parents/carers, and plenty of high chirs for little ones. Toilets, baby changing areas are ok. My little one loved the little slide she could go on alone and loved going through the big area, climbing and slipping then going down the BIG slide!! The ball pit is good fun too. Plenty of other kids too, and all well behaved/controlled by their parents. Books for quiet time, cars to ride, pushchairs and babies to play with..... On Tuesdays between 10 - 2 the local church group have moved their rainbow parent and toddler group there. They get you in cheaper at £1.85 and have a separate story time and provide snacks and driks for the little ones - included in the price. A great place for little ones!!

If you are going to go on the train, wear some good walking shoes as you have a hell of a hill to climb. The whole park is set on the side of a hill. The best thing to do is when you go in the main entrance, Take the chair lift to the top and work your way back down. All the rides are totally family friendly so Mum, Dad and the kids can all go on together. There is only a height restriction on 2 rides so my little 3 yr old niece wasn't allowed to go on the Switchback Roller coaster or the drop tower. There's Fantasy Terrace where you can ride on the Flying Carpet and go on the Dodgems. There Western World where you can drive the JCB diggers, pan for gold and ride the Log Flume. The Log Flume was one of my favourites of the day. All children and adults can go on it yet the drop is quite awesome and we got soaked through. My daughter went on it twice. You can also buy a photo from the ride - We got Magnets to put on the fridge. Next you can take a walk through the Party house with a ball pool, big pedal tractors, A big old sandpit and a great interactive piano that you play with your feet. I took some time out to look at the breath taking views of Matlock and all of Derbyshire. Take a look at the photos to see for yourself. It makes all that hill climbing worth it. The biggest area is of course Lilliput land the home of Gulliver himself. You can play Giant chess , go over the magic stepping stones and ride the veteran cars, Find your way round the 3d maze, ride the Crazy barrel rapid ride, visit Lilliput castle, ride the teacups and the Rio Grande train ride. My favourite area was the Palais Royale area with the Switchback and the cycle monorail but boy did my legs feel it in the morning! As it is Gulliver's Anniversary this year every half an hour the 2 park Mascots Gully and Gilly would come out and sing. It was a lovely treat for the little ones so we took time out to get ice cream and donuts. OK they are a little expensive but the were really Yummy. The absolute last ride you get to go on before you leave the park is the Pirate ship which is my all time favourite ride so it was perfect to save the best for last. As for the food on the park. Well the usual is availableBurgers, Pizza, Chips and Chicken. We ate at Dixies Fish bar. You queue up at the till and order your food (Fish or Chicken burgers) and then when you paid you move round to the window to wait while the slow youngsters in the kitchen prepare your mealDon't wait until you are starving to order. It all comes in disposable wrappers so you can just throw it all away on your way out. I thought the price was quite reasonable and they don't skimp on portions either. Both my children asked if we can go again next year because they went on all the rides and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
