Food is of a decent standard but again the prices are rather inflated. Play equipment is well maintained and modern. Parent and toddler sessions and regular special events are organised.

I love this place, although I am far too old and cool to admit that to my friends ;-)…read more The idea is pretty simple; you wakl in and pay at the door, buy some bags of food for the animals and then walk around the large farm/park at your leisure stopping off frequently to feed the two legged and four legged animals alike. They have the full range, from your normal farmyard animals such as pigs and goats to the slightly more exotic Llama's. In fact there is one incident with a Llama I will never forget - having fed one plenty of the green grass pellets he rewarded me by sneezing and sending a lovely green mushy spray all up my arm! There is a place to eat here and also grab a cup of tea etc. and there is a play park on site for the children. They also have reptiles and fish areas, plus a petting zoo part where you can get to hold some of the smaller animals. A great place for the young and the young at heart :-)

You are able to be amounst many of the animals, my little brother once was chased by a peacock which was veryt funny, he was perfectly safe!! I held a python on my shoulders and we were also able to feed smaller animals. There is a adventure park and since i have visited there have been a lot of new attractions added. Adult entry is £7.50 and £6.95 for children. I strongly recommend that you take a picnic with you when you go as the centre does get busy and there are plenty of picnic areas.

The facilities include: Sport's Hall Bowling Soft Play Coffee Shop Conference Facilities Overall, it is a great addition to the town of Alfreton and i feel it is a fun place to go with friends. It also includes a bar, beauty treatment and various function rooms. The staff are generally friendly and pretty helpful. The location of this entertainment centre is pretty convenient and easy to find because it is in the centre of Alfreton.

The 2 main downsides are that the adult toilets are outside of the soft play area and the carpets are often covered with food, but staff are willing to clean up if asked. The function rooms are practical and roomy. The nail and beauty bar is easily accessible to town and has a good reputation.

Pushing push-chairs around was tricky as many of the paths are gravel.Food wasn't over-priced but basic, if we go back we'll take a picnic. A massive indoor area is opening soon so could be a good bet if the weathers bad. If the price says the same when this opens it will be a good family day out. One word of caution: the zip wire says 14 stone max, i'm 13 stone and won't be sitting down for about a week!
