Apparently to my friends, that's pretty cheap but it was my first karaoke experience in Adelaide anyways. They only gave us two microphones, so that was a little disappointing. Moreover, since the microphones were built to only register sounds close to the microphone, sharing simultaneously was a no-go. We had some technological difficulties like changing the volume of the music rather than changing the volume of the microphone. We had to get some assistance from one of the employees to help us switch from non-English music to English music in the beginning too. Aside from that, we had a blast! Justin Bieber songs and Taylor Swift songs are always amusing. We tried Mariah Carey but "We Belong Together" was too emo for us.

It's not a place for a social event, like say, a casino, it's just there for you to throw your hard-earned bickies into a machine or put some of said hard-earned on a pony or a doggy. But for what it is, if you need to have that thrill of throwing money away, only to have 10% of it come back, then this isn't terrible. It's mostly clean, the staff are quick to sort out problems that I could see, and it's in a good location.

Having said that it's a great place for Melbs Cup or sports betting, the odd occasions like that, and on those days it has a good atmosphere, as opposed to regular times where there's a sorry bar-fly clientele here on a frequent basis. With a few upgrades, mainly for younger children, it could get there. It's a massive space with netball court, tennis court, soccer field with goals PLUS playgrounds, bike paths and a skate park. The skate park is pretty goos and a little bigger than some others around. It has a better run off area and lots more space for people to watch. Plus a rail and half pipes and the usual skating stuff. Could be used by skaters, riders, boarders and bladers alike. There was a small playground but it would only keep my child occupied for about 5 minutes. There were also a few chairs around the place, some shade and a drinking fountain. There is a proper big old brick toilet block on one side of the park which was fine to use. Take a few balls and your portable BBQ and you could have a really nice day out here. Plenty of parking close by. But I would expect it would be really busy during sport seasons.
