C19. Sesame Chicken Combination Platter
Becca H.

Had a craving for some sesame chicken and I wanted to try a place I hadn't tried before. I like that you can order online but pay in store. I also love that they accept cash app payments (when you get to the counter, they have a QR code you can scan to pay via cash app). Also the food was ready on time which is always a huge plus. The menu is pretty standard and the food is inexpensive (another bonus). I got the sesame chicken combination with lo mein and spring rolls. The spring rolls were delicious and perfectly crispy. The lo mein was very bland and pretty dry. I don't think I've ever had dry lo mein before lol. But they provided tons of soy sauce packets so that helped. The sesame chicken sauce was great and the chicken was crispy on the outside but still juicy inside. My daughter got the hibachi chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was very bland and the chicken was mostly chewy, fatty pieces. But the sauce was great, and it came with extra teriyaki sauce on the side (which she dipped the bland shrimp in), and a side of yum yum sauce. The fried rice was decent, nothing special but not bad. Overall this place is a great value and offers quick service. I'd probably give them another shot.

This place was easy to find. Since i went at night the sign only had the last 3 letters of hibachi lit up. Ordered one hibachi shrimp ($10) and one hibachi steak ($9). I didn't realize until after i ordered that they had a dinner special listed on the back of the takeout menu. Lots of parking available. It is a small dine in with about 6-8 tables i think. Was not busy, took about 10-12 mins for my order. Decent price for the amount of food so I'll be back and will post a follow up review.

Ordered from here for the first time since they deliver to Joppatowne. About an hour and 1/2 wait ,and they delivered the wrong roll (Ordered shrimp tempura rolls got an avocado roll instead.) I called them back ,and they redelivered the rolls(about another 40mins) Hibachi was good , but not sure if I will order again. Sad because not many Abingdon/Bel Air restaurants deliver to Joppatowne.

Hands down the best tasting Hibachi food for less. They even have the Yum Yum sauce which is also awesome. I was working near there 2 years ago. Im in the area so I HAD TO STOP BY!

My go to spot. Never been disappointed. I usually get the hibachi shrimp and crab shrimp and cream cheese sushi rolls. Love them!

There were times I want to tell him he was doing such a good job since my party was big and that's a lot of different people, paces and energy to manage. Nonetheless everything came out timely. The appetizers, the food, and we took desert to go. We ordered a plethora of food, from Bang Bang Shrimp to Alaskan Rolls and hibachi to noodles. We had it all and I can't wait to go back.

We're not too hungry but hungry enough for some app and a roll. We're decided on crab Rangoon, calamari, tuna tataki and titanic roll. Everything was great, we finished it all. Love the tuna, presented beautifully on a lettuce sprinkled with green onions and black sesame. The calamari, while it's not the breaded crispy, its crispy and stir fried with red green pepper and red onions. Loved this too. Crab Rangoon, it's good but not a fan of the dipping sauce that came with it. It's overly sweet and thick in the consistency... this one could definitely be improved. We ended up eating it with the sauce that came with the calamari. Now onto the titanic, nothing but good thing. Fresh and love give it has a black caviar on top. Last but not least, we had to finish with mango sticky rice. The rice came out so warm which was a very nice touch. Ate every bits of it. Service was great attentive and dining area is clean and pretty. There's a seating area on the side where you basically sit in the floor. Would love to come back and experience that another time.

Izakaya 68 on Shawan Road absolutely nails the feel of a real Japanese Izakaya. The atmosphere is…read morewarm, lively, and authentic--exactly what you'd expect if you stepped into a neighborhood spot in Japan. One of the highlights (especially for families) is the robot cat servers. They're a hit with everyone at the table, from kids to adults, and they genuinely add to the fun without feeling gimmicky. The food is excellent and checks all the Izakaya boxes: yakitori, gyoza, and my personal favorite--takoyaki--are all done right. On top of that, they also offer sushi, ramen, and full entrée dishes, so there's something for every appetite. Drink options are just as solid, with Japanese sodas, green tea, and a good selection of Japanese alcoholic beverages. This is a great spot for the whole family and an especially awesome place to host a birthday dinner for teens. We brought a 13- and 14-year-old group, and it was a perfect balance of fun, great food, and a relaxed environment. Highly recommended if you want good Japanese food and a memorable experience.

We happened to be in the area and really stopped in on a whim…read more The place is very well decorated inside and reminds me of ramen shops and festival booths for a night market. My only complaint is that all of the ramen broth is pork as I would have loved to have some ramen but I have a pork allergy. That said, the udon broth was very tasty and had a clean but bold flavor. It is probably one of my favorite broths I've had. You use the QR code on the table to order and the robot brings you your food. Our server also helped put stuff on our table from the robot. It's a very cute robot and sings about people being in the way as well as your table number. Everything we had was cooked well or assembled great. I really want to come back and try some of their other sushi rolls. The salmon belly was torched just right and the mayo complimented it well. The yellowtail was unique and the sesame paired well with it along with the pepper. I wasn't a big fan of the beef skewer because it was a bit sweet. The inari sushi has spicy mayo in it and I enjoyed it. The shumai stays hot for a while so just be careful. The green tea stayed warm throughout our date and was nice and hot when it first came out. The prices are incredibly reasonable and I felt the fish was very fresh. Our server answered all of our questions, which is how I ended up with udon instead of ramen. My spouse said his curry was delicious and he devoured it.
