I paid more the second time (read the fine print if you miss a scheduled dive for any reason you are liable for the fees for the next one) and had a private session with a master who actually knew what he was doing and took the time to properly adjust my equipment . I have since been diving with other instructors internationally and now confidently I can say that the teachers at this location are intermediate level, and you probably get what you pay for . Management is only nice at the onset when taking your money, equipment isn't sized properly to fit and the objects in store are overpriced. Be aware that the dives are with another company and the boat is owned by them, also they have a weird and uncomfortable policy that you have to exit the boat with gear and fins on by stepping into the water and climbing up a ladder to return, which is exhausting and impractical for smaller people. Also be aware that they discourage asking for wetsuits even when you may need one. I can't recommend them to first time divers and would have quit if I could have finished the certification with another company. I felt like the whole process is a push to get people through and they really don't have concerns for safety and health. I had strep throat after the first dive and major sinus irritation which was probably a combination of stress and work, but the water leaking in the regulator and oversized bcd with tank that hit me in the back of the head didn't help either. Overa, they are not the best choice for price or convenience of certification, but I cannot comment on their other options.

They have an outdoor enclosed section which includes rock climbing and what looked like axe throwing (for kids). Inside they have plenty of arcade games along with laser tag. They also have some cool new bowling lanes in the back. I didn't get to taste the food or drinks but they did have a pretty wide diversity of options including the usual fair, pizza chicken fingers and more importantly alcohol for the adults but also lomo saltado and chicken and waffles. They also have private room upstairs for parties. The kids had a great time and it's pretty enclosed so not easy to lose track of your kid. Overall it's a solid option to host a party and keep the kids entertained.

This park is truly lovely but the placement near an industrial area and townhome is weird. Although it is close to the highway this makes it convenient to visit. Basically one can walk the park in 15 minutes but if you study the art it will take longer. For me the vibe is freedom, starting over, and liberty for immigrants in the expression of the art. I can totally relate since my parents migrated from another county and struggled here and made it here. In my opinion, the art felt like it was a tribute to all the Latin artists and what they felt. I am glad I made my way to this park because I think the idea of art in a park is brilliant as well as using dead space among the power lines is smart.

It was created as a result of the Miami-Dade County Building Better Communities Bond Program. A paved half mile walking trail winds among art and plants located under power lines. This is an area that is usually left empty although I sometimes see other towns put passive parks under them. The art in the park is by local and world renowned artists. Artists featured include Alexander Mijares, Astrid Alcayaga Art, Reynaldo Artires, Villamil ART, Rafael Consuegra Studio, Noel Leon, Antonio Fortuna Art, Aristide, Juan Abuela, Zaida del Río, Roberto Perez Crespo, Ramon Pedraza, Florencio Gelabert, and Alexis Porro-Fortún Artist. There are 11 murals, some of which relate the history of Hialeah. There are also sculptures that range from small to quite large. I never got bored. As I wandered down the path there was always a cool plant or thought provoking piece of art to discover. As I walked it was a little disconcerting to hear the power lines crackling overhead. The park also includes an amphitheater, benches and seating areas, and an elevated stage with turf seating. The amphitheater can be rented for private events like weddings. Parking is in a free lot at the entrance to the park. What a wonderful place to experience the arts and culture in the setting of a beautiful botanical garden.

Lion Park is a small neighborhood park with no parking. The Lions Club of Hollywood takes care of their namesake park. The club recently collected 500 pounds of plastic from the community, other clubs, and civic organizations in a six month period and were rewarded with a recycled plastic Trex bench for the park. On December 7th the club held a ribbon cutting ceremony and tree planting to commemorate the installation of the new bench.During the ceremony the club did some landscaping to tidy up the park and the Stan Goldman Memorial park too. Although small this lovely park is worth a visit. I found parking at the nearby railway station that is next to the Stan Goldman Memorial Park. As I was crossing the bridge between the two parks I spotted 4 manatees in the canal below. I have never spotted them in a park before so I had a great experience watching them swim and eat. The bridge is also a popular location to fish.

When a nearby table opened up, we asked if our friends could be moved next to us. Our server was kind, said it should be possible, and went to speak with the manager. We had also spoken with the hostess, who seemed overwhelmed by the number of walk-ins. About 12 minutes later, instead of seating our friends at the available table, the restaurant seated a party of 2 there. Since our friends were only 4 people, they easily could have been accommodated at that table. What made the experience worse was the manager, JP. He came to our table claiming the table was reserved, but that didn't seem accurate--we spoke with the couple who had just been seated there, and they told us they were walk-ins. We understand that restaurants have policies and reservations to manage, but JP's attitude and lack of customer service were disappointing. There was no effort to find a solution or show any empathy. The restaurant wasn't even full, and many guests were heading to the mini golf course, so the situation felt unnecessarily inflexible. Puttshack has a fun concept, but customer service is just as important as the experience. We hope upper management reviews how situations like this are handled, because JP's approach did not reflect the level of hospitality customers expect.

Instead of honoring our reservation, he continued seating more walk-ins, and our wait time increased from 30 minutes to over an hour. He never called to confirm our reservation or check if we were on our way, and it was clear that no space had been held for our group. When we raised the issue, he showed no interest in resolving it. After waiting for over an hour, three of us canceled and left, while the rest of our group eventually got to play. A reservation should actually reserve your spot. If walk-ins are going to be prioritized instead, there's no point in offering reservations. Very disappointing experience.

EmilyCK was very polite when we were ordering food. Yohan took time out to explain some of the flags to me even though I was watching as opposed to racing. And, Charlie, the GM, was very personable and made time to talk with those who were watching the races. Overall, it was a really great experience. I can't wait to bring my own kids here they next time we visit as a family.
