Well, today, the staff greeted me upon arrival. I was checked in and then asked to wait in the patient waiting room. The waiting room is clean, quiet, and calming before a visit. There is event a purified water dispenser with little cups for filling up. The dental technician/asst named Abby called my name for my appointment to begin. She greeted me and then she roomed me. Once in the room, she took internal photos of my teeth and mouth, gave me a blood pressure wristband , and also administered the saliva bacteria test/lab. I got the results within 10-15 mins on my online Dental MyChart record, they are quick here! Abby then received permission from the dentist to take me to get my x-rays. They have a standup machine that's like taking an oral CT Scan 360° photo of your mouth. Then we had the regular dental x-rays where you have to bite down on the trays with the xray manual camera. I really thought it was cool because they also offered to clean my orthodontic retainer while I was here. It literally took only 15 or 20 minutes and it has been cleaner than I've ever seen it since I got it 7-8 years ago. Thanks! Once done with all of my intake tasks, I was able to meet my new dentist, Dr Wu. I explained to her my concerns, and she was very good about examining my mouth and being gentle as well as giving me all of the information that I needed during her exam. I have to say this is probably the best dentist I've ever encountered so far. Her demeanor is wonderful and she does a really good job at articulating and explaining everything that she's thinking about or diagnosing in your mouth. I did also appreciate that she reviewed my saliva bacterial test results and that she gave really good insight on some of the things that the results mean. Doctor Who has a way of making you not feel bad about your situation in your mouth and I really appreciate her for that. Some people are really natural about positive bedside manner, and Dr. Woo was definitely one of those people. Thanks! Since I felt so comfortable, I have agreed to continue and get my work done here. Once Dr. Woo was done with me, she was able to introduce me to Tom who was able to give me all the information that I needed for my treatment plan and everything that Dr. Wu described and explained to me about her course of treatment. Tom is very pleasant and welcoming, and he is also the same person who checked me in and made me feel comfortable for my visit. I like his positive vibe, it matches Dr. Wu's positivity. I will update my review after I get my dental work done, but I'm very happy that I chose to come here. Today as a new patient, I got a brand new toothbrushing kit, which includes some really cool stuff. My daughter has been a patient at Kensington Dental for many years. I will recommend this place also to my mother because she was asking how it went.

After changing dentists around age 10 to 11, we were immediately told she had a severe overjet (approximately 11 mm) and should begin treatment. Parents may want to ask specifically about bite and jaw alignment during visits rather than relying on it being addressed.

She personalizes the experience so it never feels like I'm rushed out the door. I also cannot rave enough about Dr. Scalercio where I feel like I am always in good hands. After researching on Yelp, I found that A+ Family Dental was conveniently located and had received overwhelmingly positive reviews. I called them up and inquired if they could accommodate me that day. They kindly assured me that they could take me in immediately. Upon entering A+ Family Dental, I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, incredibly kind and sweet, made me feel like I was at home rather than a patient. Dr. Victor examined my teeth, and we discussed some options. I went with the extraction and bone graft. I did enjoy the options and not feel compelled. I was a bit concerned about the pain. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the procedure was pain-free. They even provided an air sensation on the opposite side of my cheek, which helped distract me from the initial injection, which was completely painless due to the numbing of the gums beforehand. The entire staff demonstrated exceptional expertise and professionalism, which convinced me of their capabilities. Since then, I've had several other dental procedures performed there, including bone grafting, removal of old silver fillings that were damaged, fillings, and a deep cleaning with text messages reminding you of your up-and-coming appointments and then follow-ups after your procedure, seeing how you feel. They have been accommodating with payment arrangements, and I have become a loyal customer. I truly appreciate the helpful and friendly nature of the staff. They were always eager to answer any questions I had, no matter how simple they may have seemed. Additionally, they provided valuable tips on maintaining good oral hygiene and even gave me a bag filled with dental essentials, In conclusion, A+ Family Dental truly deserves its name. Their exceptional service, expertise, and commitment to patient satisfaction make them a top choice for dental care. Thank you so much to the entire staff from front of the house to the back. You made my visits very special and welcoming. Also, a very special heart-warming thank you to Dr. Victor and hygienist Princess. You made my experience very special and positive, bringing my smile even brighter. Thank you once again and looking forward to our next appointment.

I have great coverage through work but they wouldn't let me know ahead of time what my bill would look like although I asked several times. Finally got the bill and the charges on the bill were quite frankly silly, especially concerning the appt experience we had. We had an 8:30 appt which they said was the earliest appt possible. Got there early and it still took 20 minutes to be seen. No books or toy, only iPads in the lobby. My child is 2 years old, he doesn't need a tablet. Once we were shown inside, another 10 minute wait. All that waiting for an appt that lasted 5-10 minutes, including the fluoride varnish. What was frustrating is that my 2 year old is not shy and quite comfortable with dental examinations (we floss every night, brush teeth and tongue scrape twice a day) and the dentist barely looked at his teeth and I'm honestly not even sure if the varnish she applied touched his teeth? No exaggeration, she went in with the varnish in less than 5 seconds. If he was screaming or crying, I would get that but he was sitting calmly in my lap and was totally fine! I would be perfectly content paying the additional fees for a quality pediatric dental experience but this was not it.

After doing some research I found Kensington Pediatric Dentistry. I called to ask some questions & find out more about them....when I called I spoke with Marta, she took at least 10 minutes or so answering all my questions & being very helpful, she was so friendly & pleasant to talk to. I made an appointment for my younger daughter & took her in the following week to see Dr. Eric Dixon. When we arrived we were so impressed with the inside of the office & how kid friendly & inviting the whole office was. The entire staff was so attentive to my daughter as well as me. After the experiences my daughter had with her old dentist she had become very fearful of going to the dentist & would become very upset upon arriving at the dentist. At Kensington they made her feel so comfortable, they talked with her & showed a genuine concern & interest for her, which made her feel at ease. They also got her set up with a movie of her choice with her very own headset to listen to while they started her exam. They talked with me through the entire visit & explained everything & answered all my questions. My daughter had to have a small procedure done so they had her move into another room where I was able to go with her as well & watch the whole procedure. They got her set up again with a movie, a cushion & a blanket because she was cold. At the end of her visit she got to pick from a treasure chest, pick out stickers & got flossers, a toothbrush & toothpaste :) It was the best visit she has ever had at the dentist! She was compliant the entire visit & did not cry or have a melt down. I know this was a direct result of the outstanding patient care & concern Kensington Pediatric provides!!! we couldn't be more impressed with level of service they provide. We are so glad to be new patients at Kensington pediatric dental

Not surprisingly, her office is still super clean and organized. It had been a few years since I last visited. Dr Adina presented me several choices to help me with my sleep apnea (Somnomed, TAP and Panthera). Ended up deciding on the Panthera classic. The device is super light and is the smallest amongst the other companies. Fitting was straight forward as Dr. Adina took digital impressions which was awesome as I didn't have to have my mouth full of plastic trays and impression material. My dental appliance arrived in less than 2 weeks. Will hopefully be able to create a more peaceful environment so that my wife won't have to sleep next to a "raging bear" at night anymore.
