Located on a quiet strip in Sauble, this is such a cute little restaurant attached to the June Hotel. As it was the beginning of October, there was very little people so ample parking available. To the side of the building, the cobble steps takes you to a really cute patio with umbrellas and picnic tables - very instagrammable. The three course meal - Roasted corn soup 5/5 The corn was sweet, broth was flavorful Brisket with beans and sauce 3/5 Brisket was tender. The sauce was a little on the saltier side, but very pretty plating Peaches and cream 3/5 The cream was delicious The almond praline garnish was delicious The poached peach was sour. A hidden gem in Sauble Beach! We came to Sauble Beach for a quiet weekend getaway and stumbled on Heydays behind The June Motel--and honestly, it made our whole trip. From the first step in, everything felt special. The vibe is relaxed and charming, but it's the people and food that really stay with you. Our server Olivia was absolutely wonderful--so warm, kind, and attentive in the most genuine way. She made us feel right at home. The salmon with herb rice was one of the best meals I've had in a long time--perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and our glass of white wine tied it all together beautifully. You can tell the chefs here care deeply about what they're creating. There's love in the details, and it shows. It honestly surprises me that more people don't know about this place. But I'll be recommending Heydays to everyone I know. It's a true hidden gem in Sauble Beach, and we can't wait to come back. read more

Outstanding food! Two couples--the women each had the trout on a bed of lentils and shared fries. They raved about it. The men each ordered the fried chicken but our server, Hailey, suggested we share one order, along with one of fries. If that was insufficient, we could always order more. She was right--4 huge pieces of moist and crunchy chicken. And we could not finish the fries. We also ordered a plate of hot olives for the table that was flavourful. We also ordered mushroom caps for the table but two of us thought they were no great shakes. Great food, a delightful server and an agreeable patio. We're going back. read more

A great patio with inside seating as well. Ordered the broccoli Caesar, will order again every time. Got the Mac and cheese - a thicker sauce but we'll cooked. Salmon cakes were very delicious, and you could dip anything in the sauce that accompanies. Oysters were large, toppings served generously. Have not ordered a mixed drink that was enjoyable. Servers were attentive and nice. A mix of quiet from the beach but alive with music and patrons from their personal pool. read more

Can't believe I'm first to comment on this place. Our second time here today and won't be the last. The food is simply amazing and so is the atmosphere. Tonight they've got even alive music going on my some young lad from Oakville - Cloud Gavin? Food was fantastic. We started with some super fresh seafood appetizers - see pictures. I had their fish the last time, but this time I had to try the lobster Mac and cheese. The wife had the sirloin steak anf our friends shared the fish and fish cakes. Everyone loved their dish. What adds to the evening, was our table poolside. Can't ask for a better place in Sauble. Go check it out. You'll love it. read more

Stayed at June Motel yesterday so we had dinner here. Luckily they were open while most places were already closed (we came around 7pm). We were seated right away and the service was very good. Oysters - Small and a bit overpriced at $3.50 each and you had to order a minimum of 3. Was good but I wouldn't say it was worth the price though. 3/5 Smash Burger - One of the best burgers I've had. Was honestly not expecting to enjoy the burger as much as I did. A bit on the salty side but it was so so good. My best comparison would be Shake Shack which is one of my favourite burgers next to an In N Out burger (still my #1). I'd recommend this to anyone. However, be prepared to fork out $14.50 for just the burger. 5/5. Fries - Fresh handcut fries which is really and truly the best kind especially to go with a burger. 5/5. read more

Heydays is attached to The June Motel which was featured on Netflix's Motel Makeover. The food did not disappoint, I had a margarita and the trout with lentils. I think portions were just right, very tasty, the servers were sweet hearts, and the ambience was very relaxing/tropical. Highly recommend visiting. read more

Went to Sauble beach for a getaway vacation with my family, and found this cute little place not too far from the beach. The restaurant was fairly busy, so we did have to wait a good 15-20 minutes to get a table. They also have an all outdoor patio dining service and closed down the inside due to COVID. They also had live music, a cute shop, and even a little motel right beside the restaurant. This is a great place to eat- it's close to the beach and it's close to the hotels and air bnb's. read more

mostly seafood, but only one option was local fish. They didn't offer a salad or soup option at all. most of our party got the smash burger which was absolutely terrible. Thin Pattie's, the sauce was runny and it came in a bag. it should have been open faced. Their sides were good, but really expensive. $8 for fries or seasonal vegetables and the portion was small for the price. Another party member got the lobster roll and she said she enjoyed it but that it was just lettuce and lobster in a bun. the local perch was dry and small portion wise. Nothing spectatular to write home about. So the food is ok at best. The server was nice, but the food was poor quality overall. I wouldn't recommend this location to friends or family. read more

We visited a few times this week while on vacation. Everything we had was so full of flavor and cooked to perfection. My husband loves the Smash burger and also had the most perfect lobster roll. We had the burrata 2x with perfectly toasted bread:olive oil. I had the trout twice (cooked to perfection) and is the only time I've had green lentils and LOVE them. They had a Spanish potato app with a smoky tomato drizzle and crème fraiche. The flavor knocked my socks off! Bevvy options were plentiful. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great..we were lucky the weather was so perfect. It's everything a summertime dining experience should be! I can't wait for our next trip to Sauble. read more
