Yesterday I was stuck out at Point Reyes Station, because Lyft to changed their policy regarding pick up times and Partnership, who handles all medical transportation for their patients neglected to tell me that the ride time was not at 4:15 but actually at 4:30. So when I got a notice saying the ride was going to pick me up at 4:15 and I was still in the exam room at my doctors office. Not wanting to make a driver wait and risk getting stuck with no ride, I canceled the ride. Unfortunately decision that created a chain of events that took three hours to deal with. Lyft has a tendency to not want to go out to West Marin anytime after 4 o'clock, which if you have a doctors appointment anytime between three and five you are not getting a ride home very easily even though Partnership contracts with Lyft on a regular basis and it's easy to get a ride out to west Marin, it's just not easy to get home. After multiple attempts to get me a ride with Lyft, as a last resort Partnership called you guys and you guys advised me that a ride would be coming in an hour to pick me up. Of course my phones battery started dying so that was another issue on top of the no pick up issue and my being disabled and in chronic pain and not able to get to my meds which were at home, it was a pretty shitty way end to the day. Just after 7pm a woman pulls up in a nice looking car she hops out , announces her name, makes sure she's dealing with the right person. I notice she's got the heater going because it was freezing out there, then she pulled up the front passenger seat to allow my legs to have more room because my legs don't work very well. The driver was absolutely amazing. Her name is Lynn and the minute we got in the car and started taking off it's like we had known each other for years we talked about places we had lived, how much we loved nature, how some people are denser than a box of rocks How Partnership and Lyft routinely abandon people that they're supposed to be making sure they get rides to and from medical appointments. I am an ex law-enforcement officer and police dispatcher and I can say that Lynn was a great driver!! She was attentive, she was courteous, she was safe as a driver and she was a great conversationalist. I asked her for her business card when I got home because if I need your services outside of Partnership you can bet I'm going to be calling you guys!!!! I will also pass your company's name around to my friends who live in the Santa Rosa area where Lynn currently lives. They were assigned by medical transport to pick me up for my surgery. I called them 2 days before my surgery to confirm my ride to surgery and back home. Since I couldn't give them an exact pickup time for a surgery they told me they couldn't be my ride so I'm trying to get it rescheduled with a reliable transportation for my surgery now 2 days before. They weren't even going to call me until tomorrow to let me know they couldn't take me. So the day before my surgery they were going to cancel on me. Ridiculous. This was set up through Paid Partnership of California medical program. Now they are trying to find another ride for my NEEDED SURGERY. read more

Driver left patient stranded 2.5 hours from home on a medical transport. Then dispatch yelled at the receptionist who was trying to assist patient. Patient was told to arrange other transportation with no notice. The area has no public transportation options available. The patient had no working phone. Driver was notified that patient has no working phone but gave an excuse that he had texted them. The company never resolved the issue. Insurance company notified. read more

My boyfriend and I visit our clinic every single day, which takes over three hours round trip. We liked the company that used to drive us, we had a good reliable routine and we liked our drivers. But I guess Hey taxi underbid them so they got the contract. They never called or showed up. When we called we were told that WE were the no show, and because of that there wouldn't be a ride for us that day. Absolute BS, NO ONE came to get us. We found out from people that we had been riding with previously that There wouldn't have been room for us anyway, van was completely full. so instead of telling dispatch or whoever that they couldn't get everyone they just said we didn't show up. Why?? Do they not want to share their potential passengers with anyone else? Because of greed or laziness from the driver we get penalized and don't get our ride? And it doesn't make sense if the drivers are coming from Ukiah. The drivers we had before were from our area, so no empty rides. Totally unprofessional. I like that hey taxi is never more than 15 minutes wait time. I used them a lot. The drivers are always very personable and friendly. They are also cheaper than anybody in Ukiah area I have personally compared them to other companies I've used. I would highly recommend hey taxi if you want ride somewhere. read more

If I could give it 0 Stars I would. This is absolutely the most ableist is company I have ever used since I have been in a wheelchair. I get violently car sick and the driver refused to let me sit in front. She stated this was because of covid-19 close to me and touched my wheelchair without asking multiple times so social distancing out the window. The driver literally stared at me the entire time I was transferring my wheelchair into the car while I repeatedly told the driver I was good and did not need help she continued to stare at me making comments about my level of Independence. She spoke to me like I was 3 years old and also stupid because I was in a wheelchair. When I called you complain about this the manager literally screamed at me and told me that I can just take a different taxi company next time obviously I will be doing that. However when I told him his drivers are a thousand percent ableist he continued to scream talking about how Progressive they are. You are not that Progressive if you are screaming at somebody for reporting direct blatant ableism. If you are against ableism or against Prejudice in general do not use this taxi company. read more

We almost just had a head on collision with a hey taxi van!! We were headed north on state st in Ukiah & he zoomed across both northbound lanes into a business on the east side of state st! My husband had to slam on our brakes to avoid the collision!!! WTH kind of drivers are you hiring these days?? This one definitely needs instruction!!!
