They really need some better management with the dentistry part of the organization before they end up losing business over it. My daughter and I both come to the orthodontic side and you are in and out. This is now our second visit to the dentistry side where we have been here for numerous hours. It's not a good way to run a business! I really hate to be that person but it's a little ridiculous as my time is just as important as theirs should be, and I get that things happen or it could be around a holiday, but they should schedule appropriately for that!

My credit card on file was charged without authorization. When I attempted to resolve the issue, they billed my card again. I have not personally met Dr. Stubbs, so I can't speak negatively about him directly. However,…read moreduring the short period of about five months that my son was a patient, most of our interactions were with the staff who handled the tightening and adjustments of his braces, and those ladies were very kind and sweet. My one-star review is solely based on a very unpleasant experience with the office manager who handles billing. Back in October, she and I had a conversation about getting my son back in for treatment due to some unfortunate personal circumstances. She informed me that I could not schedule an appointment unless I made an upfront payment, which I was not comfortable doing at the time. I decided to wait a few months until I was more financially stable. This was especially disappointing because I had previously been told that my other son would need braces about six months from our last visit. Fast forward to January 2026: I called the office with the intention of scheduling both of my sons together--one who had previously been a patient and one who had never been a patient--for orthodontic treatment. Before I was even given the opportunity to explain my plan or discuss any payment options, the office manager immediately brought up my first son's account and refused to schedule either child. She specifically stated, "If you didn't uphold your payments for one son, how can we trust you to pay for the other son's treatment?" She continuously talked over me and did not allow me time to explain my intentions or discuss payment arrangements. She then claimed that I owed over $2,000 for services my son never received and stated that I would need to pay over $400 toward that balance before she would even consider scheduling my other son, who had never been a patient. I expressed that I did not agree with how the office was handling this situation and felt we were being treated unfairly, especially since services were never rendered. This interaction felt more like a money grab than patient care. When I voiced my concerns, she attempted to intimidate me by repeatedly referencing the contract I signed, stating that payment was required whether or not my son attended appointments. She also claimed that all orthodontic offices operate this way, which I know is untrue. My entire family has had braces, and before moving to the Tampa Bay area, my son attended a dental office that never charged for services that were not provided. My advice to anyone considering this office: please read your contract carefully. I never expected to be in a situation where life circumstances would interfere with my ability to bring my son to appointments, but the moment that happened, I was treated poorly and made to feel like a criminal rather than a parent trying to do the right thing for her children. Both of my sons are now patients at a different orthodontic office one that values families, communicates respectfully, and does not penalize patients for services that were never received.

A while back, I had some dental work done. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with my insurance…read moreand it was billed and paid to the wrong insurance. I contacted the dental office to get this corrected, and they said they couldn't do anything to help me without being asked by the insurance company to return the funds to rebill it. Mind you, the insurance has sent a dozen letters and called them and spoken to them while I was ALSO on the phone, but then they tell me that they can't return the money because they've never talked to them. Oh, and they billed me for flouride that they never put on my teeth. After asking them to remove the charge, they finally did over a month later and rather than returning it to my card, they gave me a statement credit. So unless I go back, I can't get my money back. I will never. ever. go to this location again. I will go out of my way to go somewhere else. I recommend you go somewhere else too. They will charge you for stuff they never did and then "look into it" when you call to complain. Never again.

Have I transported back in time somehow, those devices look like something from the Middle Ages! They're not actually going to put those things in my mouth are they? Thankfully, I wasn't the one scheduled for a cleaning/checkup this time. My two kids were overdue, and you can bet your bottom dollar that they weren't happy about it. They were both convinced they had cavities, and were asking me a million questions as we made the drive over to the office. I tried my best to put them at ease, but I could feel their anguish intensify as we pulled into the parking lot. I had never been to this office before (their mother had always taken them), so naturally my curiosity led me to see how my fellow Yelpers had rated the place. There weren't any recent reviews, and as I had predicted, the previous ones were not kind. I notice that doctors in general rarely have positive reviews since no one trusts them, and people love to lash out after being given bad news about their health. Since I was a newbie to this place, I always go by my own personal experience. From the start, everyone working here was super friendly. The receptionist was attentive and we only had to wait about 10 minutes before both kids were called back. This itself was already a miracle to me, as I usually wait over an hour to be seen, so far so good. About 20 minutes went by and my daughters hygienist came back to tell me that she didn't have any cavities and everything looked great! She suggested a sealant for her molars that helps prevent cavities, and let me know it was fully covered by my insurance. I agreed to it, and off she went for about 10 minutes more to finish everything. My son's hygienist came out while my daughter was finishing, and the identical results and advice were given. We were literally in and out of the office in less than 90 minutes, truly amazing. I'm not sure if we just got lucky, or if this is the norm for this place, but I can't say enough about what an incredible experience we had. I will definitely be recommending this office to everyone I know, five stars all the way!
