The market is in an old brick building with plentiful parking. As many have noted-it is massive. There is just so much to see on all the three floors-there really is something for everyone here. Glasses, plates, toys, Christmas decor, old electronics, telephones, and so, so much more. We had a wonderful time exploring, and I picked up a few things I had long been wanting. I'm not an expert in antique pricing, but it all seemed reasonable to me. I definitely plan to visit again when in Pennsylvania. It was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon, and afterwards we all remarked on what a great time we had there.

It feels like a long drive but the area is pretty so it's a lovely ride. Around 4+ miles, we saw a small sign in the yard of a house on our right. We turned there and it is a little ways back that road. They also have Weir Kitchens. It's a large, very neat property. The kitchen business is first, on the right, and just on the other side is their antique business, in a small building set back a little. There is a short driveway and a gravel parking area. There are antiques and vintage outside and inside, in several very very neat and clean rooms. Tools, glassware, crocks, clocks, some furniture, there is lots to see. The prices are very fair, too. It was very enjoyable perusing the displays and speaking to who we believe to be the owner, Mr. Weir. We will definitely be going back. It is well worth going back off the beaten path. I was disappointed a few years ago when their Covid precautions were not being taken seriously, so hadn't been for a long time. I was encouraged by recent positive reviews to give them another chance. It was so disappointing. The majority of the grounds are empty. What used to be rows and rows of venders is just empty tables. The booths run by long term venders that are there every week are overpriced and stale. The market is just a shadow of what it once was and I won't be going back.

Upon entering, you're in a huge warehouse space with larger items and some tight rows of assorted insanity. My friend purchased a 3-foot tall nutcracker figurine from this area for $29. She was thrilled. As you wander back into other areas you find more curated collections of items for same, including one magnificent area of mid-century modern furniture where every items wanted to come home with me. I ended up purchasing some adorable pineapple salt and pepper shakers and one of those ubiquitous milk glass nesting chickens. We didn't even make it to the basement area.

As a frequent Dealer-buyer at their auctions, I smile at some of the reviews. If the auctioneer…read moremissed you, you need to wave your card. And if they still don't see it... just holler, "YO!" They have to keep things moving. They move a massive amount of merchandise in and out, so they don't have time coddle. They get higher prices than many auction houses, and sometimes I can't buy anything, because there is no meat on the bone for resale. I took a beating on some rifles I sold. They were brutally honest about their condition in their catalog, whereas another auctioneer may have been vague to the buyer. As a buyer, I have gotten some great deals. If I won it for "cheap", it means I was still willing to pay more than anyone else with money to spend. Sometimes I wait a dozen years for that item to sell at full retail. As a bulk buyer, I need those extra seats to land my purchases so that I can pack and bid on multiple lots in a row. No one saves me a seat. If I come late' I'll be standing until something opens up. They need dealers as customers so that everything goes. But they need retail minded buyers to get the best price. Most estate sellers just want it gone. If it didn't go for a $1000, it wasn't worth it. If it went for $1, no one else wanted it either! Having gone to dozens of different auction houses, this is where I am most comfortable with the honesty and integrity of the auction staff. It is normal to take a few weeks to understand the flow and get a feel for an auction house. If there is value in an item being sold, it will find experienced hands handling it and properly valuing it.
