Chris and his associate Mike showed up a bit early (great!) and did a wonderful job on what turned out to be a complicated task. It took a lot of maneuvering to get the old unit disassembled and removed, but the guys worked diligently and got it done. Since I hadn't been able to clean behind the old unit for over 20 years you can well imagine the huge dust bunnies left behind! Mike was nice enough to sweep that up without my asking, excellent service all around. Their listings have almost no useful descriptions - just "as-is" disclaimers with little to no real condition details. I tried texting/calling/emailing with simple questions about an item and got zero response for like a week. I also accidentally placed a bid, then realized the condition was worse than it looked, and they completely ghosted my request to cancel. I honestly don't understand how estates can trust them to liquidate valuable items when they won't communicate and won't properly describe what they're selling. No other estate auction company I've dealt with operates this way, most provide clear, detailed descriptions and condition notes. It's also no surprise their auctions have very low bidding activity and they keep extending the deadline. On top of that, their 19% buyer's premium is ridiculous. Most reputable companies charge 18%, and at least they provide solid descriptions and properly represent items. This company doesn't even do the basics, yet expects people to pay more. The extra 1% barely makes a difference for them financially, but it says a lot about how cheap and poorly run this operation is. I would not recommend their service, and bidders should be extremely careful.
