I want to give a special shout-out to David for going above and beyond to help me with an issue…read morethat he honestly didn't have to deal with. I had been given incorrect information by Budget customer service, which left me frustrated and unsure of how to resolve the situation. David took the time to listen, look into the issue, and actually help me get it resolved. He was professional, patient, and genuinely cared about making things right. He could have easily told me it wasn't his responsibility, but instead he went out of his way to help and that made a huge difference. People like David are what make a company stand out. I truly appreciate his effort and excellent customer service. Thank you, David, for taking the extra steps. Your kindness truly made a difference and saved our trip from ending in disaster. We will be forever grateful!

The car we initially got from the airport had problems and we were directed by the customer to drive to this location. After we got here we found out they can't just switch out the car. This would have been frustrating but David was incredibly helpful, empathetic and treated us like people and not an upsell. He told us we could get the car fixed at a nearby pep boys at no cost. 10/10 would recommend getting your rental at this specific location because David is awesome. If your car has problems, ask customer service where you can get your car fixed or get towed back to your original branch.

When I arrived (two hours early) the agent was apologetic in her news that they did not have a Full Size SUV on the lot. However, she was speaking to her manager as I was walking in as an effort to make the reservation correct before I arrived. Instead of lying to me that a Nissan Pathfinder or Ford Escape was a Full Size SUV this Hertz Location offered to pay for a Lyft to send me to the nearest location with a Full Size SUV. They went above and beyond my expectations for fulfilling my reservation request and even with my early arrival they still were able to make a resolve for the issue. I have rented lots of cars. When this has happened to me before, the agent would lie and say that's the class you reserved or that they're completely sold out. Even if they had another car in the class I rented at a nearby location they never offered for transportation between the offices. This Hertz location went above and beyond. Best of all; they were honest.

Dear Enterprise Customer Service & EXTON Team,…read more I am writing to formally complain about my recent rental experience, which involved an unaddressed vehicle issue and an unjustified late fee. Vehicle Condition at Pickup I rented a vehicle through Priceline (with damage insurance also purchased through Priceline) and picked it up at your Enterprise location last Friday. At the time of pickup, I was informed that smoking was not permitted in the vehicle; however, the car had a strong smoke smell. I requested a vehicle change at that time, but was told this was not possible because the reservation had been booked through Priceline. If Enterprise does not permit vehicle changes for Priceline reservations, I do not believe Enterprise should accept such bookings in the first place. Since I urgently needed the car and had no alternative rental option available, I felt this policy was used to my disadvantage, and I was given a vehicle in poor condition -- the worst I have ever driven. Discomfort During Travel The smoke smell caused significant discomfort for my family during our trip. On Saturday, July 25th, I contacted Enterprise customer support to report the issue. I was told that the local rental office would call me back to address it. I never received that callback. Late Return Due to Weather Delay My scheduled return time was 5:00 PM on July 28th. Due to severe weather conditions in Philadelphia (heavy rain and flight delays), I was unable to return the vehicle on time. I returned the car at 8:45 PM and placed the keys in the drop box as instructed. Unjustified Late Fee Subsequently, I received a call from an Enterprise representative (Eric), who stated that I was charged a late fee for returning the car two hours past the scheduled time. When I explained that I had already contacted customer support about the smoke smell issue and was awaiting a callback, I was told there was no record or note of my call in the system. Summary of Concerns The vehicle had a smoke odor despite a no-smoking policy, and my request to change vehicles was denied due to the Priceline booking. My reported issue was never followed up on, despite being assured of a callback. I was charged a late fee despite the delay being caused by weather conditions beyond my control, and despite having attempted to resolve the underlying vehicle issue in advance. I would appreciate a review of this situation and a waiver of the late return charge, given the circumstances. I would also like to understand what steps Enterprise is taking to ensure vehicle quality checks and customer follow-up are properly handled for future rentals. Please let me know how this matter can be resolved. Thank you for your attention to this matter. He fabricates charges and my $54 cheap rental car ended up being $368. He basically has the attitude of his word against mine. DO NOT use this location. I called to dispute the crazy charges and he made up charges after the fact to charge me! He decided to charge me $176 per day on a vehicle that is the cheapest one they offered at $54 per day!! This is absolutely crazy and absurd. I have never had such a negative, corrupt experience. Seems like someone is needing money and running business extremely shady. DO NOT RENT from this location at the old Radisson Hotel by Valley Forge Casino. I would think the real owners of Budget would want to replace this guy or take the franchise from him. However, when we showed up on moving day we were asked to wait 20 minutes for the manager who 'just stepped out', only for him to tell us 20 minutes later that there was no 26' truck available, only a 16 ft truck. He was helpful in calling other Budgets to check inventory, but when he hit a 2 hr perimeter, we moved on. - Silly "Reservation" policy: While you can reserve moving trucks from 16-26 ft for any date on the website, THIS DOES NOT RESERVE A TRUCK. Per Budget Policy, a rep checks truck availability in your area THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR RENTAL and will call the night before if one is not available. We did not receive a call. With all the hassles of planning a move, not having a truck at the VERY LAST moment is a huge issue. Pay the extra $100 for a more reliable vendor. Also - one funny note: the glowing positive review is the manager of this location.
