Agent gave me the choice of cars and assigned me a very low mileage clean car I was thankful for. When I returned the car the other Agent was just as helpful. Great people were working here when I rented and returned. --- Had a problem using the Toll Device on the car--took that up with corporate and they refunded me one service charge. The device is supposed to charge you only one service charge in a 24 hour period--not a calendar day but the software was charging me a service charge for each day and not waiting 24 hours to charge. Careful driving over NYC Bridges and Tunnels with the device--For example--The Whitestone Bridge does not recognize it and will charge you the same much higher price as if you did not have a device. NYC has all these tricks to get more money out of you. Every-time I drive in NYC they find a way to charge me more money for something.

Then when we get to the counter at Avis. The girl did not give us the price. She did not give us agreement. She gave us a key and car is in the back number slot when we return the car again the line was out the door and you had to put the key into a basket when we flew home. We got bill. $700 for three days for economy car. Expedia said they can't do anything because we returned the car already and trying to get anybody at Avis is pulling teeth so make sure you get what you're paying for and ask for that agreement, take a good look at it because they like putting hitting charge extra insurance that you don't need especially we got it from Expedia. We didn't need it from Avis woman knew that and she still put insurance on us so just watch out. Be careful.

We were there for 3 1/2 hours before we finally got towed which cost us $190.00 then we got to Butegt at LaGuardia where we waited in a line for about an hour or so to get to talk to someone to get another car. When we did get to talk to the woman she was not sure what to do but lucky for us another guy heard what happened to us & he got us another car to finish our trip.
