I understand it was close to closing time for them and it was snowing but she did not give us any options, just rang us up for the car she picked us up in. She told us that it was being cleaned, which it was not cleaned at all then told us it had a full tank of gas, to return it at the same level. When we got in the car there was only 1/3 of a tank. We did not know how to operate the vehicle and it was dark, snowing and we were driving to Ohio in the dark and snow. It felt like she just wanted to get out of work and not take care of us. It was very disappointing. Our trip ended up being very expensive because of having no other options given. We would have liked to be given options because our car was very expensive to get fixed. I would not use this location again. We have used Enterprise in the past when traveling and she wouldn't even take our Enterprise points number.

**WARNING- VERY LONG APPRECIATION POST**…read more Tuesday night we left for Florida around 7:30 pm. At around 11:30 pm our transmission went out about 2 miles from the Beckley, WV exit. It was raining and it was not a good spot for it to happen since there was only a 3 foot berm and then gravel that dropped off. It was also 500 feet from construction area with left lane closed so everyone was getting in right lane. So we had semis passing at 60 mph 4 feet from us We called AAA and within 20 minutes David from Glen's Towing called and said he would be there in 5 minutes. AAA had told us Because of COVID nobody could ride in the tow truck so we amazingly found Ambassador Taxi after trying Lyft, Uber, and every other taxi company number with no answer. Ambassador said they would have to send the driver back to get a big SUV since we had 7 people and could be a little while since he was on way back from dropping railroad guys off in VA. When David arrived with the tow truck, he said "I'm going to just pull up behind you with my lights on and wait for the taxi to get here. Then you guys can just jump in taxi and I will bring van to your hotel for you to get your stuff out so you're not trying to do it on side of the road." He sat behind us for an hour until Ambassador got there. While we were awaiting, the owner of Ambassador called and let me know that they had a shop and could look at the van first thing in the morning for us if we wanted to have it towed there. I also, used my Choice Hotels app and booked us rooms at the Comfort Inn in Beckley. Since it was after midnight the app booked them for the following night. So I called Comfort Inn and the front desk girl said she would get them changed no problem. Ambassador arrived and we got into the Tahoe and he took us to the hotel. I walked in and the front desk immediately handed me the key cards and pointed me to our side by side rooms so I could get the kids in bed. 5 minutes later, David from Glen's towing arrived and completely dropped the van off the roll back for us to empty all of our luggage onto the hotel carts. Once in our room around 2 am, I got on the Enterprise app and booked a minivan for pick up at 8 am when they opened. I got a call around 7:40 saying they didn't currently have any vehicles (From Austin working there I knew that was common first thing in morning) and they would call when they received some from Charleston hopefully by noon. While waiting Ambassador auto called and said what I feared, transmission completely out. I told them I didn't want to put that kind of money into it and I had already booked a rental and asked if van was in the way or if I could come with trailer in 2 weeks to get van and she said "No problem. We will just park it around back." At 10 am Enterprise called that they had a van. I called Beckley Green Cab and they were there in 10 minutes to take me to Enterprise. I walked in enterprise and was in a 2020 Caravan with only the 82 miles on it in less than 5 minutes and headed back to the hotel to continue our vacation. We left a Beckley at 11 am. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone we dealt with was. Maybe it really is, Almost Heaven in West Virginia. Oh, no! We hadn't even gotten to Beckley - and we had a 10-11 hour drive straight through to Memphis. We had just had to buy a new tire the week before for a unrepairable nail puncture. We were able to go to the Toyota dealership in Beckley. When I went in, I met with Mike Jude, the New Car Sales Manager. After I explained our situation with the tire and our long trip to Memphis, he was quite understanding of our problem. Mike then took me to Erik in the Service Department. Both men were very courteous, professional and understanding about our problem - as well as our need to get back on the road promptly. Well, I am sending out a Big Shout Out to both Mike and Erik for the quality service we received. Even with other people in the Service Waiting room, Erik was able to check all 4 tires - he even remembered the pressure for each tire. He found no problems with any of the tires, and properly inflated all tires to the proper pressure. All of this great service was done with a smile - and at no cost. We were able to finish our trip with no further tire problems. If you live in the area, or are just passing through and have car problems, be sure to check our L&S Toyota. And, be sure to ask for Mike and/or Erik. They will treat you right - even if you didn't buy your car from them. Great service, guys! Much appreciated.

They "say" a 31 point inspection has been conducted before purchase, only for issues to arise the next day. We were told the breaks screeching was where it had sat, give it time & the sound would go away. I mean, why would they sell a car less than a year old with bad brakes... ha. They can & THEY DID. After our 1st "complimentary" oil change, they brought out a bill for almost 515 bucks for new brakes... uh, what? So yeah, there's that. Not to mention how the vehicle was supposed to have been detailed 2 weeks after we had it (why wasn't it cleaned prior to showing it on the lot)? The guy who performed said detail a couple weeks later must've been blind. It's almost like he sprayed the carpets with water & called it a day. After wasting 3 hours of our time, I detailed it myself. These folks should be ashamed, but I'm sure they're all pretty pleased with their skeezy ways. Proceed with extreme caution when choosing to visit this trash establishment.

So I've been dealing with this issue for about two months. I had made an appointment for 9am today…read moreafter having Ford Corporate AND this dealership in conference making the appointment with me a week previously.   I show up and get attitude from the service guy and then they act like I'm "Hulk Hogan tearing up the place," for simply raising my voice a bit and telling their guy he doesn't need to give me attitude.   Here are the main points:   1. Their service intake bay was coned off on one side with two cars filling the other side of the bay - So I couldn't pull into the intake bay. I pulled up and had two or so service folks see me sitting there....Nothing. Not even a signal to come in....Then the garage door was actually closed, "in my face," right in front of me after that!   So I sit there for about five minutes waiting for someone to come out and do my intake since I can't drive in (Like I'm supposed to). Finally, I decided to go in because I didn't know what else to do. ‍   2. Go to service desk and I'm met with a guy that is asking me what I'm there for when THEY had my appointment and had already talked to Ford Corporate. We went back and forth with where I  tried to explain that I was there for a repair that was diagnosed two months ago and that I don't remember the exact problem. I told him that I had been dealing with Ford in Detroit and that they had also been in contact with them.   This jerk gives me attitude with the fun line, "Sir, we can't help you if we don't know what you're here for." Nice. The ol' "Making the customer look stupid" move when I was trying to explain and have him simply look up the case. Seriously, I have only been going back and forth with Ford on this for two months.   So I called him out on his tone and how he was being short with me where I told him I that I didn't need his attitude and I didn't appreciate his tone. He gives me even more attitude and starts yelling toward the service guy about ten feet away saying, "How can I help this guy if he won't tell me what's wrong!"   3. Now some tatted up meathead shows up (I'm guessing he's some kind of manager) and gives me the normal, "What's the problem here?" I explained the attitude from the guy and the meathead tells me that they need to know whether my car is going in for an oil change, basic service, a repair, etc. (Duh! I told the guy it was a repair and that I couldn't remember the exact problem). He gave me no apologies; no politeness; nothing. He just kept making accusations and questioning me like I did something wrong. The meathead proceeds, at one point, to tell me that, "There was no need to be aggressive."   Aggressive? I raised my voice slightly and was irritated. And rightfully so. This service guy was giving me attitude and I was trying to explain that he just needed to look it up because I didn't recall the exact repair. It isn't my fault that everyone is so emasculated that a man can't even raise his voice anymore without being looked at like a frickin' gunman or something.   This place gets one star for:   1. Not knowing what the heck is going on when someone shows up for a repair that they have already had diagnosed and for which made an appointment a week earlier;  2. Having a guy working for them that goes immediately to having an attitude and being short and rude when a customer was trying to explain his situation, but I suppose wasn't giving a good enough answer for them . 3. Instead of attempting to deescalate the situation, they make it worse by bringing in more people and then making the customer feel like they did something wrong while not even covering the bad attitude from their own employee with so much as an apology; 4. When their customer was visibly upset, but threatening no one, he was called "Aggressive" with everyone working there within forty feet staring and making it all feel so much worse and embarrassing when it should not have been. I didn't yell and I threatened no one.   Bottom Line:    Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. These folks are the stereotypical dealership types that act like they're doing you a favor by just being there.  They then get all "Aghast!" when a customer has the "nerve" to get frustrated with their arrogance and absurd rudeness.   This place is simply reflective of how the word "Service" in today's world, from McDonald's to buying a house, now simply means doing the job and getting them the heck gone ASAP - not making the customer comfortable and/or happy while getting the job done. Customers are just numbers, treated like cattle being herded through lines and "intakes," with no attention, whatsoever, given to the fact that customers are people and would like to be appreciated for their business from time to time.
