I told them I wanted car I ordered and needed size as had 4 people with luggage and car I was getting was to small. Was then told if I wanted a estate waging it would be an additional $250 more for the 8 days and if I decides to cancel no guarantee I could get a refund.at this point I had no choice but to take car I reserved and pay the extra $$ As they almost laughed at me when I had to accept there terms almost like knew exactly what they were doing, Felt this is bait and switch and extortion

This place is cheap. Enough said…read more A day's rent for a small car will only sets you back for 250 kr, but the car isn't the shiny variant either. It's perfectly enough for short errands somewhere nearby, a much needed trip to Ikea, perhaps, but no bridge-crossing with their car either. We got a somewhat battered old red Toyota but it worked fine so no complaints there. The 250kr day rent includes 100 km free (which is sufficient for short trips, but maybe you need to pay more if not - it's 1.99 kr per extra km). We drove to Tune - our destination, to see the bird shelter there - and ended up in Roskilde for lunch and back again, so we didn't use the car for the whole day and we used up 97km so there was no extra charge. The girl behind the counter filmed the car before we took off, so any NEW scratches would be on us - as you could guess the cheap price doesn't include any insurance, but we didn't have any problems, complaints or dispute, so it worked for us. As I said, if you need the car for longer trips, you are probably better off somewhere else, but for short errands, it's not too bad with this one. Another tip: The entrance is not on Vermlandsgade 33 as the website suggests, it's on Uplandsgade, right across Vermlandsgade 51.

Avoid Sixt car rental…read more Unfortunately I only now discover how many bad reviews already exist concerning Sixt Especially at Copenhagen airport. Americans, Swedes....French and danish Having had similar experiences. Days after you have dropped off your rental vehicle You will receive a mail informing you about supposed damage to the car, which surely didn't exist when you dropped it off. 3 weeks later you will be held responsible for the damage and rudely they even address themselves to you by your first name (totally inappropriate) No check of vehicle takes place at the time of return of the vehicle ( take my advice don't ever drop off a rental car without Insisting that a check of the condition is done especially at Sixt) No mutually signed document ( it has to be established) upon return......so Sixt have this unofficial strategy...they know these foreign onetimers will hurry to their flights ...but you are already trapped and your stay in Copenhagen Will become tarnished by a terrible customer customer service and a ripoff by Sixt. Maybe they get an incentive for trapping ignorant customers. Having now read several accounts similar to mine, It looks like a fact that this is the way they operate. Very unusual for a known German company To act in this dishonest manner. This is sad to be danish from Copenhagen and pro-german to write this, But I really want to help other innocent tourists to Avoid Sixt and this kind of bad experiences. It has to be known now!! I should have read all the bad reviews concerning Sixt car rental Then I would have steered clear of them.
