Honestly, I've been here several times, each time trying to give it another chance, since it's convenient to me in the West End. However, there are limits. I came in and asked for a bra fitting, which the salespeople on the floor seemed to consider a slightly strange request (despite the fact that they weren't busy - it was a Saturday morning at about 10:30am). Still, someone said they could help me, and almost all of my bras are too big right now. I was desperate.
Then came the real fun. The (older) lady helping me, who I am fairly sure is the owner, measured me under my bust, and then made a HUGE deal about how broad my back is, oh goodness, how shocking. I told her the two sizes I was currently wearing - a 32J and a 34F - and she made another huge deal about how some people just prefer their bras to be super tight, tsk tsk. But since I came in because my bras are now too big, and I certainly never had any problems wearing them (having been professionally fitted elsewhere), I'm not really sure what I was supposed to say. "I'm sorry that my actual experience doesn't mesh with your perception that my back is enormously wide and hulking?"
She seemed surprised when I walked out. I will never shop here again. There is absolutely no reason for any sales associate to say anything even remotely negative about a potential customer's body. Ever. read more
