After putting air to inflate the tire I arrived to Wheel & Tires EM at 7:50 PM, 10 minutes before they were closing, and Milton? I believe that is his name, was quick to assist me. He inspected the tire, took it to the back of the shop, and since he told me there was no need to buy a new tire, he put a patch on the tire, installed the tire and I was good to go. I really appreciate the quick service, honesty in not trying to unnecessarily upsell me, and reasonable cost to repair the tire. I would highly recommend this business.

But when it's raining, on a Sunday, and your neighbor tells you the low profile tires on "Eleanor" are flat, convenience earns it an extra star. Located in Allapattah / west of Wynwood, Metro Tires is a warehouse where the front end is the shop itself. From what I saw, they do tires and tires alone. They have the water testing bucket, as well as a couple of electronic displays for pressure and alignment. Lounging space? A couple of chairs stacked up against the wall. Reading material? A couple of car magazines or whatever's on your smartphone. But they do have a traditional autoshop calendar with a pretty girl giving a "come hither" look from a tool cabinet. Food? There's a gas station across the street and a hotdog cart nearby. But, Danny got my Eleanor's tire fixed in about 20 minutes. He also made a service recommendation of when I need to get an actual replacement. I will likely go back to his shop for that.

The price is unbeatable and definitely worth driving a little out of my neighborhood for. The service was fast and he was able to advise me of another small repair I need to make. My car was making a clunking sound when it was turning and I found out I needed to replace the CV joints so i bought the two cvs and I came to the shop. Once fixed, the car is driving perfectly quiet and he also recommended an alignment which was necessary and that also has the car driving steady. All in all, being a lady it's hard to find a mechanic you can trust but I will definitely be coming back here, they are respectful and trustworthy. Would highly recommend.
