Panko Cod
Connie C.

We have been eating here for years. I didn't realize I had not left any reviews. Let's first start out that they have the best margaritas! We usually get the shrimp appetizer in hot sauce for our appetizer ( it's absolutely delicious, dip the bread in the sauce after you eat all the shrimp ) but we decided to get dessert instead of an appetizer. My favorite is the panko cod. It's so amazing! The desserts were so yummy! I also want to say we have always had great service.

Complimentary bread

I'd probably rate this a 3.5, but rounding down to 3. The inside is spacious and seems to be a popular meetup spot for lunch. The menu is huge and a little overwhelming (sandwiches, burgers, Mexican, Italian, wings, fish/shrimp, and bbq). I'm generally a fan of smaller menus that specialize in certain food (like say, bbq). The portion sizes are generous, which is definitely appreciated. The complimentary bread was delicious: buttery and garlicky! For my entree, I tried the brisket sandwich, which had tomato, lettuce, and cheese. It was a very hearty sandwich. The brisket was not melt-in-your-mouth tender like other briskets I've had at bbq joints, but it wasn't bad. The homemade potato chips on the side were a nice touch. Service was pretty good and the waitress was friendly. I like that they make a lot of their food from scratch and I'd be interested in coming back to try other items on that huge menu

Pimp and beautiful Tammy.

My third visit. First time, my friend and I stumbled in here by accident while looking for a Chinese restaurant. It gets better every time we come back. Place is homey, super comfortable with a really impressive bar. It's like a neighborhood bar with a great restaurant in it. Sports themed decor is really a nice touch. However, these are definitely Spartan fans. Service is always friendly and cheerful. (And incredibly fast.) Tammy was a charm (as were servers on the other two visits Pimp and I both had the BBQ Rib and Chicken combo. Sorry. The meat was so tender it floated into our mouths before we could get pictures. I'm not a big red meat eater. So for me to eat ribs says a lot. Sign up for their emails. They offer specials. Going back for my birthday (carrot cake ... OMG).

Chicken Tortilla Soup

Another great visit at Heroes. The pulled pork sandwich is one of my favorites. Plus, the housemade chips are pretty amazing. This was the first time trying the chicken tortilla soup and it was good as well - it had chunks of veggies and chicken - and of course, some nice spice. We brought some people with us that had never been to Heroes, and they really enjoyed it! Service was great and drink refills kept coming. The decor was nice as well - it's December and it was all decked out for Christmas. Can't wait for our next visit to Heroes.

This is a whole order of Burnt Ends from Heroes. I thought it was leftovers. Will not be going back there. Sad order.

This is a full order of burnt ends from heroes. been there plenty of times food seems to be getting less and less. Lost my business. Prices up, food less. Tastes like meat out of a house fire, dry and hard.

Plank Whitefish dinner.
Eric M.

Plank Whitefish baby!!! Always solid, always busy, always a great meal. What's even better is you can watch the game while having delicious food. We don't come too often but when we do it's always a winner.

Lasagna with way too much mozzarella and no ricotta to be found. Sauce was very good and pasta was cooked perfectly.

Owner on the premises. How nice is that. Coupled with a wholesome meal and pleasant adult staff. This place is worth going to.

We came here for a business meeting on a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was surprisingly busy…read more It was so packed that we ended up sitting at a high-top table near the bar, but it still worked out well. The restaurant itself has a spacious layout with plenty of seating. Service was friendly and efficient, especially considering how busy they were. The food is definitely what earns this place its great reputation. The menu offers a wide variety of options, whether you're in the mood for something light or a hearty meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I really appreciated that there was something for everyone. I ordered the red snapper with two sides. One thing I liked was the variety of potato options--they offer roasted cubed potatoes, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, and more, so you can choose whatever you're in the mood for. We also ordered steak, and it was cooked perfectly to our requested temperature. for appetizer, we got the barbecue flatbread and that was really tasty. Reminds me of the barbecue pizza at Cici's which is my favorite pizza that they serve there. The portions were generous, and we all left completely stuffed. The drinks were another highlight. Their cocktail menu has plenty of choices. I had the strawberry mojito mocktail, sampled the margarita on the rocks, and the sangria was excellent as well. Overall, I'm glad we chose this place. Great food, generous portions, tasty drinks, and a menu with something for everyone. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.

As a two year Yelp Elite All Star, it took me a while to put my thoughts together for this review…read more I really like the ambiance of 5th Tavern and the food, but when renting the room for a private event that's where the problem comes in. . . Two years ago I had a milestone birthday there. Food and Beverage minimum is required. If not met you are given gift cards after bill is settled. Sort of a confusing practice although understandable and better than losing money with nothing to show for it. We had a 40th high school reunion dinner October 3rd. Our chairperson worked with the event planner Anthony and they came to a consensus on terms of the room rental. He wasn't there that day and the other person(we didn't catch his name as he never gave it) was quite RUDE(raising his voice and all) and said we didn't come close to meeting the minimum F&B. We questioned that because many of our attendees purchased alcoholic beverages and a couple had an open bar tab. Our photographer captured images of them standing AT the bar and mingling throughout the night with drinks in hand and on the tables. Anthony was called and he was also argumentative. Three of us covered the difference and initially we were offered ONE gift card to cover the minimum requirement. Manager wasn't happy that we asked for cards in $50 increments. We have events quite frequently and our guests were pleased with the food and facility, but going forward we will go elsewhere due to how we were treated. Waitstaff was great, but I'd advise folks to think twice about renting that room unless you're 100% certain you'll meet the minimum for food and beverages.

As a teen, my classmates would love to come here just for the breadsticks. Now, I am here to show my child a taste of my childhood. I had a limoncello cocktail, it was fine, but a great price. The breadsticks and garlic dip are just as good as always. Very nostalgic. We tried the antipasto salad. I loved the ranch, very solid dressing. The salad was good, plenty of meat and cheese and other veggies. I do prefer the meat and cheese more chopped instead of large slices, but a good variety. We had a large spinach pizza. Again, so nostalgic, tasted like childhood. Thin and cheesy, and a good size for a decent price. A lot of places a large pizza only gives you eight to ten slices, but this was twelve, great for three, probably could have even had four of here here since we had leftovers. The server seemed like he was perhaps the manager or part owner. He was very friendly and very friendly with everyone coming in, he seemed to know all of the regulars. We had a nice time here. The only thing I did not love was the credit card upcharge. I would come back and so would my child, she enjoyed it.
