Salvador came and gave us a quote on the same date we sent the request. He is very friendly and easy to work with. Gave us a reasonable price for our project. His crew arrived on time the next morning and finished the project within a day. They removed many bigs tree stumps and planted the privacy plants for us as well. Very happy with the result! read more

This company quoted reasonably for the work: removed weeds, laid planter mulch, weedblock and river rock, installed some small plants. They started and finished on time! They had a crew of guys and worked really fast. The concrete, turf, mow strip, water fountain and palm tree were already there. read more

we wanted the garden done before an event so based on the reviews we went with Hernandez . Very very very disappointed with the service . He was supposed to come with his team at 1pm . He delayed and sent 2 of his members at 3 pm without tools . He finally came at around 5pm and they finished by 7 . They hurried and did not do the job right . Lawn is not mowed properly , weeds are growing . Pruning and cutting not done right . They have left the garden in a messy state and we paid for trash pick up and he left 3 big cans of trash in our house . He said he will come and take the trash one of the weekdays . After repeatedly calling him he has stopped taking calls and we have to discard the trash by ourself. Do a favor and don't go with this service . Unfinished and very disappointed ! read more

Do not do any work with these people!!! They charged me $400 for trimming 5 queen palms and $220 to pull weeds and clean up my small slope hill. They never touched the hill! Salvador asked for cash and now I know why! I've texted and called him and I am receiving no response!! Now my husband who is 60 years old has to go up on the hill to pull the weeds and clean the hill because Salvador took advantage of us! I'm very disappointed that we were lied to and robbed. We work very hard for our money and they have taken advantage of two senior citizens. Whatever you do, do not do business with this company!! read more

We've been having a bamboo problem in our back yard, which we didn't realize before we buy the property. I contacted Salvador and he came right away to check out the situation. The next day he came really early and began working. After couple of hours, he told me he's done and all bamboo roots had been removed, and also insured me it won't grow back. Up to this point I had a good vibe with him. I constantly check if they needed water or other cold beverages because the days they worked were very hot, and chatted a bit with him as well as asked him to do our front yard for us with artificial grass. Which he actually did a pretty good job. Up to this point, I'm having a positive respect for him, but I want to wait a bit before I leave the review because bamboo is notorious and hard to kill, and I want to make sure everything is all taken care of. Plus, Salvador agreed to come back and dig out the roots he missed if it ever grew back. After couple of weeks and I saw not just one, but multiple shoots starts coming out from under my wood deck. I tried to clear those myself as I thought it was very little that remained, but It actually turned out to be quite a lot. I contacted Salvador and explained the situation. He first said he's working at other places and won't be back to the area until a week later. So I called a week later to check. He then said call him 2 days later, so i called him again 2 days after. Now he's not picking up the phone. I've been trying for couple of days and still not picking up the phone. He is ignoring me and doesn't want to complete the job that he did not finish. I paid him $2000 for that job, and I know very well that it was over charged from the beginning. But I wanted the bamboo to be gone and over with, so I agreed to it. But in actuality, Salvador only did $400 worth of job and claimed my trust and additional $1600. He basically took my money and ran. read more

Hernandez Tree Service contacted me right away and set up a meeting with a fair quote the same day. The next day his team was here bright and early at 8 AM and had the whole thing done by 10 AM. We had a tree trim in the front yard and a tree removal in the backyard. Both trees looked like they hadn't been trimmed since the house was built in the 80s, we purchased in 2016. It was a big job. I'm happy with the results, the team was friendly and efficient, and the price was fair. Will definitely be calling for my next project. read more

Salvador not only does tree services, but as well as landscaping. He showed up the same day to give me a quote and started a day later on my project. Him and his workers showed up ready to work and completed my project in one day in triple digit heat! They installed sprinklers, laid dirt and sod for me. I recommend 100%. There price was also better then any other company I have called for a quote. Thank you Salvador! read more

This company did a great job. They have reasonable prices, are responsive and communicate quickly. They were able to come on a short timeframe to do the work (the next day). I had 4 BIG fruit trees removed and they did it so quickly, including grinding the stumps as far as the planters would permit. They cleaned up everything very well (including all the fruit that blew off in a huge wind the night before and even took a giant branch that broke out of my yard without me even asking). I will use them again for more removal! read more

Sal reached out to me and provided me a quote to trim 2 trees and without having to talk to someone over the phone or a visit beforehand. Another company quoted me too the same way and I went with this 1 because it's cheaper. I had 1 tree where the branches were touching the roof. Sal booked me the next morning and came on time with a tree cutting professional. They cut it and remove the debris for u too. He knew that these trees grow fast so they cut it short for me, the tree closer to my house. It got done in about an hour read more

Hernandez Tree Service is one of the best out there. I was looking to get some tree stumps removed and cut a tree back and many of the service providers either didn't respond or were unrealistically high. Communicated with Salvador and he responded quickly and came by to give me a quote on the service. He returned less than two hours later and knocked out the job! He is friendly, neat, and most of all reasonable. I'll be using Hernandez for all my future tree service. read more

These guys were amazing. Not only did they complete the task in a very short time, they were extremely professional and tackled the job like experts. This tree was massive and very close to main power lines and they still managed to stay safe and do the job right. We will be contacting them again for their services. Thank you! read more

Would definitely recommend everyone to use this company for your tree services. I too, will be using it again when needed. read more

Salvador and his crew were amazing. They were friendly, professional, and FAST. Wow. They showed up to give me an estimate to remove a tree, and they had it done and cleaned up under 45 minutes. They had the truck, the crew, and the woodchipper. It struck me as a tricky spot to take a tree down safely, but they were total pros. They were careful, yet super efficient. You can tell these guys have been in the game long enough to know how to get the job done right, the first time. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Salvador and his team were absolutely fantastic! We needed a full lawn replacement on a quick schedule and Salvador was able to come out and do a fantastic job on short notice. He was the most affordable option of all the quotes I received, and did an amazing job. We are now 2 weeks out and the sod is growing wonderfully, no issues at all. I cannot recommend him highly enough, you will not regret it! We are recommending him to all of our neighbors and friends in need of any landscaping work- he's the best! Thanks, Salvador, we'll see you again for our next project! read more

Communication is great via Yelp Message AND his cell phone. Salvador showed up as stated with a comparable estimate BUT what made the difference why we went with Hernandez Tree Services was his customer service. Personable, polite and respectful when he entered our home. Approximately one week later when I called him & said that we were ready to proceed he said "ok sir I will be there in about 30mins" & he showed up in less time than estimated. Did the work as requested and left NO MESS as he hauled all trimmings/clippings away AND he went back with a rake and blower to make sure all was clean & no debris left anywhere in the back yard OR our front yard and drive way. Would highly recommend for your trimming needs & we'll be going with Salvador again in the future! Great work and fast. Looking forward to the next time I need their service!

Thank you Salvador for just coming out when you said you were going to! We had so many people give us a time and date and never show up. He's very patient kind and honest. This is the second time I used this service, the first time was a 5 star, and I have waited this long (one month) to rate them because I needed to see the totality of what they had done. Now I can rate them fairly and accurately. First of all, the second property is out of their marked area. So I gave the workers each a tip to cover the gas after the service. I paid on the low end of the price to cut one sycamore tree down half way, and 7 Cypress trees in half and to cut the areas that grew past my neighbor's yard. Therefore I would have them take the Cypress waste to the chipper and I would have them cut the sycamore into firewood. I asked them not to use spikes on the sycamore. They complied and did the job within 4 hours. I supplied the crew of 4 with assorted cold drinks. They chipped and then I paid the price plus a tip for the owner of $200 so that the price, considering the clean up I was to do on the remaining tree waste, was mid range. When they left I did not get a good gander at the entirety of the work done. Here are the issues--They threw the cans of soda on the ground and hid some non given BEER cans in my recycle bin. They damaged my shed slightly. The broke a few items, like a cheap plastic table and a lizard chime as well as leave debris everywhere (expected this) The main issue I have is that they left some 5 or 6 heavy tree limbs on three or four trees hanging up there, waiting to clobber someone at some future time on my neighbor's side as well as mine, without saying a word about it. Now a low price is one thing, but manslaughter due to negligence is quite another thing~ I went to my neighbor's and cut off COMPLETELY the hanging boobytrap limbs (heavy! could have easily killed someone) as well as mine so I figure that the price wasn't so good after all. Beware the low end price. It could end up being WAY MORE in a negligent death case! I have learned my lesson and will pay more for better service next time, and never use this young'un again! I feel like he should put a sign on his logo that says !PELIGRO! NO SABES QUE VOY A HACER EN SECRETO read more

I wanted to write a review for Salvador at Hernández Tree Services that is located in Riverside, California. I am located in Upland, California at a mobile home complex and got a warning to do some tree trimming on my 31 italian cypress trees that are aproximately 25 feet tall. I was only given 5 days to get the work done or be given a 7 day notice. Salvador came out the same day and gave me an excellent price and was flexible and able to come very fast to complete the work. I found out that a new friend's boyfriend was an arbonist and called her to see if he would like the work as he was staying in my complex to watch a neighbors dog. He came and I chose him over Salvador only because they were friends and we will be having a good time all three of us working on my trees that I usually prune and trim myself. If anyone needs tree pruning and most likely other gardening/mowing services I assume he might do that as well call him at 951-377-4543. He was a very pleasant man and would be a nice person for your job. Sheri Sutcliffe in Upland read more
