Heritage Trail Dog Park is good. I like how there are separate sides for certain dogs. The way they're divided is unusual though. It's for the active and less active dogs. There's some room to interpret what qualifies a dog as such. In addition to the separate areas, the park also has some amenities. It has a water pad which is fun for the dogs to play. This is also clean water so they're not getting icky. It's a nice way to get them slashing around without causing a mess. The park is mostly flat but has a few hills so there's some variety. It's a good area to run around. There's also a few areas of shade for when your dog wants a rest. I like this dog park. It's out of the way but there's lots of room for them. The water pad is the coolest thing.

This Dog Park located on the outside of Dublin into Hillard is a great spot for you to let you pup run! It is the largest dog park I have seen in Columbus. It has a small and large dog section with water sprinklers for them to play. The large dog section gives you room to throw a ball or take a walk around with your pup. Be sure to go on a day the ground is dried out because there are many areas that get muddy and you might end up giving yourself and the dog a bath once you get home! This spot is pretty popular so it's good if you are socializing your pup or they need a play buddy to burn their energy out on. Be careful though I have seen some owners drop their dogs off and leave just to return while their dog was causing issues. Overall, it's a good dog park to visit!

We love coming to this dog park! Both small and large dog parks are spacious, CLEAN, and fun. Both sides have a water feature of a few sprinklers. BE CAREFUL, the cement around the spouts of water is very slippery. My poor little pupp (and my best friend) slipped and fell onto the hard cement from this. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the park. Visitors do a really good job at cleaning up after their pets. I've seen plenty of small dogs in the large dog area with no fuss, all fun. We frequent this park and recommend to everyone !

This dog park would be absolutely fantastic if one thing changed: the "active" and "less active" sides. I believe the "active" side should be for large dogs and the "less active" side should be for small ones. This is because many dogs do not get on well with the other side. Large dogs often have a tough time knowing their size and some have high prey drives, which a scared small dog can set off. On the flip side, a lot of small dogs are very uncomfortable around giant fumbling dogs and often lash out in fear at them, causing a potential injury either by the small dog or reaction from the large dog. With this in mind, THAT is why I believe it should be split by size, not "activity." Despite this, it is a wonderful park with a big hill, tunnels underneath that hill, agility equipment, and a play fountain during the summer! It is likely my most visited. I like that it's never packed to the max and the crowd is generally pretty friendly as are their dogs. Would be a five star dog park if the sides were changed to accommodate many dogs needs regarding size. I can't say how nervous I get when a teacup Yorkie is on the "active" side with a bunch of big dogs running top speed and playing rough nearby. Nor can I say how absolutely petrified many little dogs on the "active" side are, but that's more on their owners hands.

Heritage is an old railroad track that has been abandoned for years that in 1991 was turned into a multipurpose trail. It doesn't just go through natural area, but also the Northwest Village, the historical part of Hilliard. Although, the natural part of Heritage is flat, open grassy area with some wooded area. A small version of Glacier Ridge you could say. The trail is a paved black top and is used for walking, jogging, hiking, biking, skating, cross country skiing and horseback riding. Because it is paved, it also makes it useable for handicapped persons. Pets are also allowed on the trail.

Weeds are taking over the small dog side

Maintenance of this park has progressively declined all summer. The entire gravel area on the small dog side is full of weeds..nearly all of which are taller than the dogs, there's one that is more than 5 feet tall! It has been regularly unmowed and for quite some time the grass surrounding the marsh area had been allowed to spread and get very tall. This lack of maintenance has created issues with mosquitos, gnats other pests, making it increasingly unpleasant to spend time there. This had previously been our favorite spot, with frequent visit every week, but I'm searching for other locations as this park is no longer a usable, enjoyable destination.

There is a double gated pass through at each of the two areas. Poop bags and trash cans are available on site. There are two large fenced in areas, one for dogs 25 pounds or less (Oatie's area) and the other for dogs 25 pounds or more. Both have shaded areas and sunny areas with benches and play equipment. Since both areas are fenced in, dogs can run freely. Oatie loves chasing other dogs and being chased over grassy hilly areas. GODOWN dog park is a 5 minute drive from my daughter's townhouse complex so when visiting I take Oatie to the park often. This park is very popular so I have never visited the park with at least one other dog being present. Other dog owners here seem to be caring and dog lovers, as well.

It's a pretty popular dog park. We've never been here when there weren't dogs for our dog to play with. (Unlike some of the other parks we've visited in the Columbus area.) There's a spigot near the entrances beside the portajohn. Great for a quick rinse off of a muddy dog or for filling up the communal water jugs that you find on both sides of the dog parks.

Lauryn and Evan pour their hearts into this place, and it shows in all the little things. The Barktenders in bright vests greet you and your dog by name, and you can hear them on the radios calling out each pup's arrival and departure, with a secure double gate (both of which have been reinforced, with an added audio signal when the gate is opened) adding peace of mind at the entrance. They don't just stand on the sidelines; they're in the park interacting with the dogs, keeping them engaged and helping redirect energy when play gets a bit too hyped. If a dog needs a break, they're moved to a smaller enclosed area to reset and calm down with a Barktender sitting right next to them. The park itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up: faux grass so no one goes home muddy, play areas free from poop thanks to constant cleanup and respectful members, fresh water always available, a long leash wall right when you walk in, and seating placed so you have clear sight lines to your dog from every angle. There are trash and compost bins exactly where you expect them, plus a semi-enclosed heated area so humans can warm up while the dogs keep running. Every visit wraps up with a complimentary pup cup, and yes--your dog will quickly figure out that this is part of the Bumble's ritual. On top of the basics, Bumble's goes all in on community: dog birthday parties, person-and-pup yoga, book clubs, "Fetch Night," and OSU Buckeye "tailgate" events make it easy to stick around and actually enjoy being there. What really sold me was our first visit. Before we entered the main park, a Barktender invited us into a smaller area for temperament testing and spent about 10 minutes walking me through how everything works--where the bags, trash cans, and hoses are, and how the community rules keep the park friendly, safe, and incredibly clean. It genuinely feels like a responsible, caring community built for dog lovers who expect more. We keep coming back because Lauryn, Evan, and the whole Bumble's team make us feel like we're part of something special (more than anyone I've ever met - they truly care about dogs) --and that "something" is really, really good.

One of our dogs does great with other people but not so hot with other dogs. Because of this she never gets to go to a dog park. This was her first time being able to run free in a larger than yard size area and she loved it! It has a nice shelter house to keep you out of the sun. The pond edges are shallow enough the dogs can wade in and you can stand in the water as well. You bring your own poop bags and chairs and toys but there were lots of balls scattered around. I highly recommend!!

I have two girls and one is dog reactive and the other has a noisy play style so traditional dog parks aren't an option for us. Mutt's is a private dog park that you pay for by the hour to have the entire place to yourself. I couldn't believe it when I heard it! It is $10/hr per dog and you have the entire place to yourself. There's a pond, a paddle boat, a little shelter area for shade, an agility course, a human bathroom (porta pot), and all the space needed to run your dog ragged. The park owner is quick to respond when booking and always has poop bags, water, and toys for the pups. We always take our own, but it's nice to know he has some as well. You can book longer than an hour at a time, but our girls go hard quick so an hour is sufficient. The only down side is that we live in downtown Columbus and it's on the north side of Delaware so it's about 45 mins one way. But it really is worth it!
